What were the AFCAT 02/2024 dates?

Which entries did the 2024 notice cover?
The notice covered Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches, and NCC Special Entry for courses commencing in July 2025. Eligibility is not one-size-fits-all: educational qualifications vary by branch and specialization, and the applicable notice governs age, medical standards and other requirements. What was the application process?
The IAF’s registration guide describes the general online sequence below. It is a guide to the process, not a way to submit an application for the closed AFCAT 02/2024 cycle. The page was listed as last updated in 2022, so follow the instructions in the relevant current-cycle notice if they differ.
- Sign in to the AFCAT portal, or register an account if you are a new user.
- Select the entry for which you meet the stated criteria, then enter personal and educational details.
- Upload the requested photograph, signature and thumb impression.
- Choose an exam-centre state and city, then review the application carefully.
- Pay the fee if required by the selected entry and cycle, and check for the registration confirmation email.
