These are manufacturer’s suggested retail prices—not guaranteed dealer prices or a measure of what buyers will save after incentives.
How much did Hyundai cut the 2026 Ioniq 5 prices?
Hyundai’s October 1, 2025 announcement compares each 2026 trim’s MSRP with its 2025 counterpart. The reductions range from $7,600 to $9,800, with the largest cuts for the SEL RWD and SEL AWD. The table reproduces Hyundai Motor America’s published figures; prices exclude freight, tax, title and license fees.

Hyundai’s price announcement states a $1,600 freight charge for 2026 models and cautions that freight and actual dealer prices may vary. Add the applicable freight charge and local taxes, title and license costs when estimating an out-the-door price; ask the dealer for a written quote rather than treating MSRP as the amount you will pay.
What does the $35,000 starting price include?
The $35,000 figure is the announced MSRP for the SE RWD Standard Range, before freight and other listed fees. It is not an all-in purchase price, and it does not establish the price a particular dealer will offer. Hyundai’s U.S. overview lists the same $35,000 starting MSRP; its published specifications may change. Hyundai’s current 2026 overview provides the company’s model information.

The announced reduction is a comparison of manufacturer list prices. It does not show negotiated transaction prices or a buyer’s savings after financing, trade-ins, incentives or regional rebates. Current offers and eligibility depend on location and timing and are not established by Hyundai’s MSRP comparison.
How far can each 2026 Ioniq 5 trim go?
Hyundai lists EPA-estimated range from 245 to 318 miles across the standard 2026 lineup. The maximum applies to selected rear-wheel-drive trims, not every Ioniq 5. EPA estimates are not guarantees of real-world distance.

These figures are Hyundai’s current U.S. model-overview estimates. Compare the estimate for the exact trim and drivetrain you are considering, rather than assuming the headline maximum applies to the entry model or an all-wheel-drive version.
What else changes for 2026?
Hyundai says every 2026 Ioniq 5 includes a dual-amperage Level 1/Level 2 combination charger. The lineup also adds Sage Silver Matte, while Ultimate Red and Cosmic Blue Pearl are available across the lineup. An additional home Level 2 charger may suit a particular installation or charging routine, but the included combination unit means buyers should check what comes with their car before budgeting for another one.

Is the Ioniq 5 N part of the same price cut?
No. Hyundai announced the 2026 Ioniq 5 N separately from the standard-trim price table. Its announced starting MSRP is $59,900, excluding a $1,600 destination charge, and Hyundai described that as a $6,300 reduction versus the prior model year. The N announcement also lists an NACS charge port, CCS-to-NACS adapters for Level 2 AC and DC fast charging, a dual-amperage combination charger and ten selectable N Drift Optimizer stages. Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 N announcement has the N-specific details; its price and reduction should not be conflated with the $7,600–$9,800 standard-lineup cuts.
