Gierd sells business-to-business software for brands that operate across online marketplaces. The company describes its platform as a way to bring marketplace sales and operational data together so businesses can manage orders, pricing, payouts, returns, fees and supply information, and assess performance across channels.
Its stated capabilities include sales orchestration, demand forecasting, fraud protection, pricing, operational performance and financial reconciliation. These are company-reported customer outcomes, not independently verified results or guaranteed outcomes for prospective customers. GeekWire reported on April 1, 2025, that Gierd was founded in 2022, was based in Idaho and had approximately 80 employees at the time. That is a dated estimate from the funding coverage, not a current headcount. The report identifies co-founders Jordan Sielaff and Jon Pederson and describes Sielaff as CEO.
