No. The ISRO Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC) registration for Medical Officer, Assistant and other posts is not ending today: the multi-post application window closed on October 23, 2024, after ISRO extended the original October 9 deadline. A separate HSFC Scientist/Engineer-SD recruitment also closed in 2026. Neither application window is open as of October 8, 2026.
Which ISRO HSFC recruitment does this headline refer to?
The Medical Officer, Assistant and other posts appeared in ISRO Human Space Flight Centre advertisement HSFC:01:RMT:2024, dated September 18, 2024. The recruitment was for HSFC in Bengaluru, an ISRO centre established to support India’s human spaceflight programme, including work involving human science and technology, reliability and human safety.
The 2024 advertisement covered several distinct job families: Medical Officer-SD/SC; Scientist/Engineer-SC; Technical Assistant and Scientific Assistant; Technician-B and Draughtsman-B; and Assistant (Rajbhasha). Eligibility and selection requirements differ by role, so details for one post should not be assumed to apply to another. The official recruitment listing advises candidates to read the advertisement carefully: HSFC recruitment page.
What was the last date to apply?
For the 2024 multi-post notice, ISRO initially listed October 9, 2024 as the closing date. A corrigendum extended the deadline to October 23, 2024. That extended date—not the old “ends today” wording—is the corrected last date for the notice. See ISRO’s 2024 recruitment record and corrigendum.

The 2024 page may still display an “Open” status, but that label conflicts with the notice’s expired dates and the corrigendum. It does not mean applications remain available.
Is there a newer HSFC recruitment, and is it still open?
Yes, but it was a separate recruitment, not a reopening of the 2024 multi-post application. HSFC advertisement HSFC:01:RMT:2026 was for Scientist/Engineer-SD. Its application period opened August 10, 2026 and closed August 30, 2026, so it is also closed as of October 8, 2026. Check the dates and notice number on ISRO’s current opportunities listing.

Can you still apply for HSFC recruitment?
No—not under either of these notices. A later or separate ISRO recruitment does not revive the 2024 application window. For any future opening, confirm that the notice number, post title and application dates match the role you want, and read the official advertisement and any addenda. The official HSFC recruitment page provides the advertisement and recruitment FAQ; do not rely on an old headline or a page status label when its dates say the window has ended.
