ISRO’s Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC) extended the application-submission deadline for Advertisement No. HSFC:01:RMT:2024 from October 9 to October 23, 2024. The eligibility cutoff did not change: candidates’ eligibility was still determined as of October 9, 2024. This recruitment window is now closed.
What changed in the HSFC recruitment timeline?
HSFC’s original advertisement was dated September 18, 2024. Online registration opened September 19 and was initially scheduled to close October 9. A corrigendum dated October 7 extended the due date for submitting online applications to October 23, 2024. The extension added two weeks to the submission period.
The corrigendum stated: “The other terms & conditions of the Advt. No. HSFC:01:RMT:2024 dated 18.09.2024 remain unchanged.” It was issued under the Recruitment heading and signed by the Senior Administrative Officer. Read the official corrigendum.
What did not change: the eligibility cutoff
October 23 was the revised application-submission deadline, not a new date for meeting eligibility requirements. The corrigendum expressly retained October 9, 2024, as the date for determining eligibility in every respect. Applicants who became eligible only after October 9 did not gain eligibility through the extension.

Separate qualification update for Technical Assistant (Electronics)
A separate addendum dated September 27, 2024, addressed Post Code 11, Technical Assistant–Electronics. It added a minimum qualification of a first-class diploma in Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized State Board. That qualification update was distinct from the October 7 deadline corrigendum; the addendum said the advertisement’s other conditions remained unchanged. Read the official addendum.

The 2024 application period has ended, so the archived recruitment listing should be treated as a reference—not as evidence that applications are open. For any subsequent recruitment status, check official HSFC and ISRO notices and their linked application or FAQ pages.

The original notice warned applicants about intermediaries: “DOS/ISRO never appoints any agent(s) (or) coaching centre(s) for action on its behalf.” Do not rely on anyone claiming to secure an appointment or act for ISRO.
