Remove items from your Amazon cart on a computer

Sign in to the Amazon account whose cart you want to change, then open the cart.

Is there a way to remove everything at once?
The consumer sources reviewed do not establish a current one-click bulk-clear control across Amazon marketplaces, desktop layouts, or app versions. The described consumer approach is to remove items individually. If you do not see a bulk option in your cart, use the item-level controls rather than relying on an unverified feature.
Amazon Business developers: bulk deletion through the API
Amazon documents a separate bulk-delete operation for developers using the Amazon Business Cart API, not a button for ordinary shoppers. The API reference version dated April 30, 2025, documents DELETE /cart/2025-04-30/carts/{cartId}/items. The request requires the cart ID and region, and a successful response is HTTP 204. Using this route requires API onboarding and access to relevant Amazon Business roles. Amazon’s API overview also explains that a developer can remove an individual item by setting its quantity to 0 in a modifyItems request. Read the Cart API overview.
Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods have a separate cart
Fresh and Whole Foods Market items are kept in a separate cart from other Amazon.com items, and the carts are checked out separately. If the items you want to remove are groceries, open the relevant grocery cart rather than expecting them to appear in the ordinary Amazon.com cart. Amazon Help: separate grocery cart.
