To cancel IPSY, sign in, open Account, select View Membership beside the subscription you want to end, then choose Cancel Membership and finish the prompts. Look for the on-screen success message. To stop the next monthly order, complete cancellation by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the 25th; after that cutoff, the change applies to the following month.
Cancel your IPSY membership online
IPSY’s U.S. English help center documents this cancellation flow on its website. Labels or account-specific prompts may vary, so use the live instructions shown in your account.
- Sign in to your IPSY account before the relevant cutoff.
- Select Account in the upper-right area of the website.
- Find the active subscription you want to stop and select View Membership.
- Select Cancel Membership.
- If prompted, sign in again to verify your account.
- Select Continue Cancellation to complete the process.
- Check that the page displays a successful-cancellation confirmation. Keep a record of it.
Starting the cancellation flow is not confirmation that it finished. If the cancellation option or success message does not appear, contact IPSY Care through the help center rather than assuming the membership has ended. IPSY’s cancellation instructions describe the steps and confirmation.
When to cancel to avoid the next charge
For a monthly membership, IPSY’s cutoff is 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the 25th of the month. A cancellation completed by then applies to the upcoming monthly order. If you cancel after the cutoff, the upcoming order may still be billed and scheduled to ship; cancellation applies the following month. The applicable deadline depends on your plan. IPSY’s Terms of Use, last updated July 1, 2026, say quarterly members must cancel by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the 25th of the month before the next quarterly box ships. Annual members must cancel by that cutoff on the 25th of the month before annual renewal. Memberships renew automatically until cancelled, and applicable shipping and taxes are shown at checkout. Cancel each subscription separately
If you have more than one IPSY membership, check each one individually. IPSY says Original and Extra subscriptions must be cancelled separately; cancelling one does not necessarily stop the other. Before cancelling a base membership, also check whether you have IPSY Ultimate: IPSY says an active base membership is required for Ultimate quarterly-box eligibility.
What cancellation means for annual plans and refunds
For an annual membership, cancellation prevents the next annual renewal but does not refund the prepaid term. IPSY says you will continue to receive the remaining prepaid orders and retain membership benefits through that period. Its Terms of Use also state that subscription-box refunds are not processed. Check points and pending rewards first
IPSY says points are saved for up to 12 months after cancellation, but an active membership is required to redeem them. If you cancel after redeeming points for a reward that has not shipped, IPSY says the points will be returned and the reward will not be sent. The same issue can arise if you pause or cancel the membership associated with an unshipped points redemption. Skip or reduce shipments instead of cancelling
If you only want fewer or no shipments temporarily, IPSY’s Terms of Use describe two alternatives. Neither is permanent cancellation, so check your account afterward to make sure the arrangement matches what you want.
- Change to every other month: IPSY says you can change a monthly box to an every-other-month frequency until you resume monthly billing or cancel. Make the change by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the 25th for it to affect the next box.
- Skip one month: Request the skip by the 25th cutoff. The monthly membership resumes the month after the skipped month unless you submit another request by that month’s cutoff.
Membership cancellation is not account deletion
Cancelling stops the subscription according to its applicable cutoff; it does not delete your IPSY profile. If you want your profile and associated personal information removed, IPSY’s account-deletion guidance directs you to contact IPSY Care.
