A 2025 report put Caoimhín Kelleher’s Liverpool wage at an estimated £32,000 a week, citing Salary Sport. It was not a salary figure confirmed by Liverpool, and it is historical: 2026/27 sources list Kelleher as a Brentford goalkeeper. The available evidence also does not establish that Leeds United renewed its interest in 2026.
What was Kelleher reportedly paid at Liverpool?
Leeds United News reported in 2025 that Kelleher earned £32,000 per week at Liverpool, attributing the estimate to Salary Sport. That is a secondary-source estimate for his Liverpool period—not an official Liverpool disclosure and not a current wage figure. Leeds United News
Liverpool’s official interview with Kelleher, published on 24 June 2021 after he signed a new long-term contract, gives career context but does not disclose his salary. The club said he had made five first-team appearances in the preceding season. Liverpool FC
Where does he play now, and what are current wage estimates?
By July 2026, the Premier League was identifying Kelleher as a Brentford goalkeeper. Capology and Salary Sport also list him at Brentford for 2026/27, but their wage estimates differ. Premier League

| Source and season | Listed weekly figure | What the figure means |
|---|---|---|
| Capology, Brentford, 2026/27 | £80,000 | Estimated gross fixed weekly salary, excluding bonuses; Capology says its figures are estimates, not official disclosures. Capology |
| Salary Sport, Brentford, 2026/27 | £67,000 | Listed as a weekly wage; the source does not establish a matching gross/net or bonus basis. Salary Sport |
These estimates should not be treated as directly comparable: Capology specifies gross fixed pay and excludes bonuses, while Salary Sport’s listing does not provide the same basis in the cited material. Neither number is an official salary confirmation.

The documented link is a reported enquiry in 2025, not a confirmed bid. Leeds United News quoted transfer reporter Graeme Bailey saying: “Leeds are in this market for a goalkeeper and I am told they have made enquiries about his situation.” That supports an attributed report of an enquiry; it does not show that Leeds made an offer or reached an agreement.

No source identified in the available reporting confirms a fresh Leeds approach in 2026. In a Q&A published on 13 September 2026, Leeds managing director Robbie Evans said the club had completed its goalkeeper objective in the summer window; the Q&A did not mention Kelleher. Publicnow
