Sander Berge’s exact Burnley earnings have not been publicly confirmed. Two salary sites give different estimates for the 2023–24 season: FBref lists £40,000 a week, while Salary Sport lists £48,000. Neither figure is an official disclosure, so the available evidence does not support a definitive total for his time at the club.
How long was Berge at Burnley?
Burnley announced Berge’s signing from Sheffield United on 9 August 2023 on a four-year contract. The club announced his move to Fulham on 22 August 2024. Those announcements mark the public start and end of his Burnley spell, but do not establish his exact payroll dates or how many weeks he was paid.

What salary estimates are available?
The published estimates disagree and should not be treated as confirmed contract terms:

| Source and season | Weekly estimate | Annual estimate | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| FBref, 2023–24 | £40,000 | £2,080,000 | Marked “Unverified estimation”; data attributed to Capology |
| Salary Sport, 2023–24 | £48,000 | £2,496,000 | Separate salary estimate |
These are estimates for a season, not documented records of what Berge actually received during the whole period between Burnley’s announcements. The sources do not establish his actual wage, bonuses, signing payments, or the start and end dates of his payroll. They also do not establish his after-tax income.
Why an exact total cannot be calculated
Neither estimate is verified, and the figures conflict. Applying either weekly estimate across the public signing-to-departure interval would require assumptions about his actual rate and paid weeks. The available sources do not provide the information needed to make that calculation reliably, so a precise total would be misleading.

Was the reported £25 million transfer fee Berge’s earnings?
No. BBC Sport reported Fulham’s deal as £25 million, but that was a reported transfer value, not Berge’s personal salary or money he took home. Fulham’s player profile says the fee was undisclosed. A transfer fee and a player’s wages are different things and should not be added together.
