- Submit online through SBP Careers. Applicants had to complete the relevant scheme’s online form by the stated deadline. For CROS, SBP specifically warned that required details such as a photograph or date of birth could not be omitted; age was assessed using the CNIC.
- Wait for shortlisting and the test notice. Shortlisted applicants were to be notified by the testing agency for a pre-induction written test at designated centers. No test fee was required. The agency was also to publish details of candidates who qualified.
- Attend any further selection stages. Candidates progressing beyond the written test could be called for a group discussion or psychometric testing, followed by a panel interview.
- Bring original documents if called. Applicants were instructed to bring original education and professional documents, domicile, CNIC, and an HEC equivalence certificate where a qualification was earned abroad.
These are historical instructions, not an active route to apply for either named intake. The official details are on the CROS recruitment page and SBOTS 28th Batch recruitment page.
What were the eligibility requirements?

CROS
The currently captured CROS page does not expose the detailed education and age requirements in its dynamically rendered eligibility section. Do not assume the SBOTS criteria applied to CROS. For that intake’s criteria, consult the original CROS advertisement or contact SBP recruitment; the CROS page provides the scheme’s application and selection information.
Training and historical advertised pay
Both schemes involved residential pre-induction training at NIBAF Pakistan in Islamabad. The CROS page described Applied Focused Theoretical Training and said successful trainees would be offered Assistant Director (OG-2) appointments at SBP after completing the required formalities, including medical and psychological examinations and proof of completed education.
