QPR announced a 2026/27 season-ticket starting price of £275, or £11.96 per game on the club’s pro-rata calculation. The club called it the Championship’s cheapest starting price when it announced the figure on 21 April 2026; the available comparisons below put that claim in context, but do not independently establish a ranking across all 24 clubs.
QPR’s starting price and the club’s claim
Queens Park Rangers said 2026/27 season tickets started at £275, which the club equated to £11.96 per game. QPR described this as the cheapest adult season-ticket starting price in the Championship when it announced the offer on 21 April 2026. The announcement is reproduced in a supporters’ forum thread rather than available here as a directly accessed official release, so the league-wide ranking should be attributed to QPR, not treated as an independently checked league table. The £11.96 figure is a pro-rata amount published by QPR; it is not a separate match-by-match ticket price. The announcement also said new purchasers needed to join a season-ticket waiting list at that time. Waiting-list status can change, so check QPR’s ticket information for current availability before buying.
How QPR compares with the published prices available
These are advertised adult starting prices for 2026/27, but the sources do not establish that the lowest-priced seats are equivalent in location, eligibility or restrictions. Southampton’s two figures also refer to different sale stages.

| Southampton, general sale | £510 | £235 more | General-sale notice published 6 July 2026 for remaining seats; availability was limited when published. Southampton general-sale notice. |
On these published entry prices, QPR’s £275 is lower by £182 than Leicester’s cited starting price, £203 than Southampton’s renewal starting price and £235 than Southampton’s general-sale starting price. Those are arithmetic differences between advertised figures, not a like-for-like assessment of seat quality or purchase conditions. In particular, the £478 renewal price was for existing season-ticket holders’ renewal window, while £510 was the later general-sale starting price.

For supporters who do not expect to attend enough matches to make a full season ticket worthwhile, QPR’s official Flexi Ticket page lists a five-match adult package from £99 in the Achilleus Security Stand Lower. The club says it can be redeemed across eligible 2026/27 home league fixtures, subject to availability; home cup ties are excluded. This is a separate club ticket offer, not a per-game price that can be directly compared with the season-ticket calculation. QPR Flexi Ticket details.
Quick Recap
What the comparison can—and cannot—show
- It shows that QPR’s announced £275 entry price was below the cited Leicester and Southampton adult starting prices.
- It does not verify that QPR was the cheapest of all 24 Championship clubs: the evidence here is not a complete league-wide price survey, and QPR’s ranking is the club’s own claim at announcement.
- Seat location, purchaser eligibility and availability are not matched across the cited clubs, so the prices should be read as headline entry points rather than equivalent products.
- These are season-specific 2026/27 offers. Prices and availability can change; confirm current terms directly with the club before making a purchase.
