What does a Corolla Hybrid battery replacement cost?
The available shop-published estimates are not a national price survey or current Toyota dealer quotes, and they do not establish one price for every model year, trim, or U.S. location.

Do not average these figures into a seemingly precise price: they cover different batteries, dates, and estimate types. Your total can change with location, dealer versus independent-shop labor, the exact pack, taxes, diagnosis, and additional work.
Check warranty coverage before accepting a paid replacement
Toyota’s U.S. owner warranty guidance says hybrid high-voltage batteries on 2020-and-newer hybrids are covered for 10 years from the original date of first use or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first. Model year alone does not establish whether a particular car qualifies. Ask Toyota to verify coverage using the VIN, original in-service date, odometer reading, coverage history, market, and applicable warranty booklet before authorizing a customer-paid pack replacement.
Make sure the estimate is for the right battery
A Corolla Hybrid has an ordinary 12-volt starting battery as well as a high-voltage hybrid battery pack. The Kelley Blue Book estimates above are for starting-battery service; they are not hybrid-pack replacement prices. Ask the shop to name the component being replaced and identify it in writing as the high-voltage traction battery if that is the repair being quoted.

Compare the installed price, part, and warranty
A lower parts price can come with a different part condition or less coverage. Ask every shop to quote the same VIN-based repair and diagnosis, and compare the full written terms rather than the headline price.
- Part condition: Is it new genuine Toyota, remanufactured, refurbished, or used? Ask what “rebuilt” means for that specific pack.
- Fitment: What is the pack part number, and has the shop verified fit for your VIN, year, trim, and production details?
- Installed total: Does the figure include diagnosis, labor, shop fees, taxes, and any core charge?
- Warranty: How long does it last, what mileage terms apply, and does it cover parts, labor, removal, and reinstallation? Ask about exclusions and who handles a claim.
- Diagnosis: What test supports replacing the pack, and could the fault involve another hybrid-system component?
Toyota Genuine Parts says qualifying dealer-installed high-voltage batteries have a 36-month warranty from installation, regardless of mileage, or the remainder of the applicable new-vehicle warranty, whichever is greater. Its stated coverage for Toyota service parts installed elsewhere is 12 months. The terms include conditions and exclusions; for example, the page excludes removal and reinstallation labor for over-the-counter parts and addresses commercial, fleet, and livery vehicles. Use VIN-based parts information, not a generic listing
A dealer catalog search result for a 2024 Corolla Hybrid showed a battery listing and part number 28800-37131, but the catalog page could not be confirmed. That result does not establish the battery type, price, or fit for a particular trim or car. Treat it only as a lead for a Toyota parts counter to verify against your VIN.
