Hilton announced the collection on October 6, 2025, and said on November 5 that reservations were open for stays beginning later that month.
What is Outset Collection by Hilton?
Hilton introduced Outset Collection as its 25th brand and the eighth in its Lifestyle portfolio. It is an upscale collection brand for independent hotels, not a single standardized hotel design. Hilton describes the concept as destination-led and story-driven, with flexibility in amenities, dining and the way each property expresses its identity. That flexibility matters when comparing stays: a café with light bites may suit one hotel, while another may have a fuller lunch-and-dinner restaurant. Do not assume that a particular service, amenity or room experience comes with every Outset property; check the hotel’s own listing for the details that matter to your trip.
Which hotels are in Hilton’s Outset Collection?
Hilton named Slackline Moab and ACME Hotel Chicago among the first properties. Its current collection page also lists properties in Richmond, San Diego, South Wellfleet and Skaneateles:

The roster and opening status can change. Before making plans, open the property’s live Hilton listing and confirm that it accepts reservations for your dates. Compare the hotel’s location with your planned activities, its specific amenities, available rates and cancellation terms rather than treating the collection name as a promise of uniform services.
When can you book an Outset Collection hotel?
Hilton’s November 5, 2025 update said reservations were open for stays beginning later that month. Hilton identifies Hilton.com and the Hilton Honors app as booking channels. Search by property and travel dates to see whether a hotel is open for booking and what rates and terms apply.

Do Outset Collection hotels earn Hilton Honors points?
In its October 2025 launch announcement, Hilton said all Outset Collection hotels would participate in Hilton Honors and that members could book, earn and redeem points for stays through Hilton’s direct channels. Hilton Honors terms and property participation can be subject to change, so check the current program terms and the individual hotel’s listing before relying on points for a particular reservation.

Hilton’s October 6, 2025 launch release reported more than 60 hotels in development and described long-term potential for more than 500 hotels across the United States and Canada. Hilton also said more than 50% of global hotel supply was unbranded or independent. These are Hilton’s launch-era statements, not independently verified current counts or a guarantee that a given property will open.

The launch release included Hilton CEO Chris Nassetta’s statement, “At Hilton, we continue to reimagine what’s next in hospitality, and today, we’re delivering it.” Chris Silcock, president of global brands and commercial services, said, “With Outset Collection, we are offering owners the flexibility they want without compromising on quality.” Those comments describe Hilton’s rationale for the brand; they do not establish that every hotel has identical standards or amenities.

How to decide whether an Outset hotel fits your trip
- Check where the hotel sits relative to the places you plan to visit, not just the destination name.
- Read the property-specific room, dining and amenity details; collection hotels are deliberately varied.
- Compare the total rate and booking conditions for your dates, including cancellation terms.
- If using Hilton Honors, confirm current earning and redemption terms for that property before booking.
