They want American to regain a premium identity
At the February 12 protest, a flight attendant told KERA: “We want to return to being a premium airline again — one that we were for a very long time — and we don’t see that happening with Robert Isom.” The comment conveys the protesters’ view of the airline’s identity and leadership, not a measured customer-satisfaction result. What a no-confidence vote means—and what it does not
APFA’s vote is a union governance action. It records the union board’s lack of confidence and supports its call for Isom to be removed; it does not itself remove a CEO or establish that American’s board has acted.
