No—the HPPSC Police Constable 2024 application window is closed. The original deadline was 31 October 2024, but the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) extended it to 12 November 2024 at 11:59 PM. The Commission later scheduled the objective screening test for 15 June 2025; those dates are historical, not an open application or upcoming exam notice.
What was the final date to apply?
HPPSC initially set 31 October 2024 at 11:59 PM as the deadline for both the online application and fee payment. On 1 November, the Commission announced that the closing date had been extended to 12 November 2024 at 11:59 PM, citing candidates’ reports of technical errors. How many constable posts were advertised?

What was the Home Guard age correction?
The 12 November corrigendum corrected the minimum age in the eligibility table for Home Guards: it should read 20, not 18, with the upper age limit remaining 29. Did the later fee-deposit opportunity reopen applications?
No. On 20 December 2024, HPPSC offered a limited fee-deposit opportunity to listed applicants. The notice explicitly stated, “No fresh candidate can apply to above mentioned posts.” It therefore did not reopen applications for new candidates. HPPSC press note, 20 December 2024
When was the screening test scheduled?
HPPSC’s 3 June 2025 notice scheduled the objective-type screening test for male and female constable posts for 15 June 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM—a two-hour window. The advertisements directed candidates to apply through HPPSC’s Online Recruitment Application (ORA) system. The male-post notice said applicants must have passed matriculation and +2 from an institution, school or board situated in Himachal Pradesh, with an exception for bonafide Himachalis. It also instructed candidates to check eligibility and upload applicable education, age, category and Himachal bonafide documents before the closing date.
