What to verify before buying on EMI
Compare the exact model and its current selling price, then ask the seller or lender for the complete repayment terms. Check:
- Whether your chosen model qualifies for the discount or ₹1 upfront option.
- The EMI amount, number of installments, interest rate and total amount payable.
- Any processing fees, down payment, late charges or other conditions.
- The warranty period, coverage and exclusions for the specific appliance.
- Delivery and installation terms, including any additional charges.
These details were not established by the 2025 report, so the advertised starting EMI should not be treated as a quote for a particular appliance or buyer.
