Good Sammy opened its 30th store at 1/7 Cobbler Place, Mirrabooka, near The Square Mirrabooka, in February 2025. Its opening-weekend giveaways and activities ran on 22–23 February 2025 and have expired; they are not current offers.

The store is at 1/7 Cobbler Place, Mirrabooka WA 6061, near The Square Mirrabooka. Good Sammy’s official store listing gives its current hours as Monday to Saturday, 9am–5pm, and Sunday, noon–4:30pm. It also lists free parking and bus routes 67, 960 and 975 along Yirrigan Drive. Check the listing before travelling, as hours and services can change.
What were the opening-weekend giveaways?
PerthNow reported on 15 February 2025 that the launch sale and activities were scheduled for Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February 2025. The advertised promotions were:
- The first 50 customers were to receive giveaways.
- The 100th customer across the weekend was to receive a $100 in-store voucher.
- Customers making purchases on Saturday between noon and 2pm were to receive free ice-cream.
- Face painting was scheduled for Sunday from noon to 2pm.
These were time-limited opening promotions, not offers available now. The official opening was announced for Thursday 27 February 2025; a later Good Sammy post reproduced in LinkedIn search results said the store had officially opened the previous week.

What does the store sell and offer?
PerthNow’s 2025 report said the opening stock included about 13,500 clothing items and a further 3,000 items, including shoes, handbags, books, linen and household goods. Good Sammy’s current listing describes the range as clothing, homewares and furniture. Stock changes, as is typical for a second-hand store.
The Mirrabooka store is also listed as a Containers for Change bag-drop location. Visitors can choose between free parking listed by Good Sammy and bus routes 67, 960 or 975 along Yirrigan Drive.

Why the opening mattered to Good Sammy
Good Sammy Enterprises acting CEO Marisa Kouts said the store would offer “sustainable, pre-loved, quality clothing and household items at affordable prices” while supporting the local community. She also described the organization’s stores as important to its disability-employment mission and to addressing cost-of-living pressures.
In the PerthNow article, Good Sammy was reported to have said that half its workforce identified as having a disability. The same report attributed several organization-wide figures to “the past financial year,” without specifying which year: 1.15 million customers served, 5.2 million kilograms of donations processed, 80 per cent of items diverted from landfill, and 52 million containers recycled through Containers for Change. These are reported as Good Sammy figures for an unspecified financial-year period, not as results for the Mirrabooka store.
