On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the APGJSA-attributed Pakistan market rate for 24-karat gold was Rs419,862 per tola. The reported 24-karat silver rate was Rs5,034 per tola. Both were higher than the previous session; these are historical market benchmarks, not guaranteed retail quotes.

Mettis Global reported the following rates, attributed to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). ARY News independently reported the Wednesday figures.

Why some reports show a different gold rate
Some coverage labels Rs416,362 per tola, Rs356,963 per 10 grams for 24-karat gold, and Rs327,227 per 10 grams for 22-karat gold as October 29 prices. The reports that explicitly identify the session as Wednesday, October 29 give the higher figures in the table above; Mettis Global’s comparison table identifies Rs416,362 per tola as the October 28 rate. For the October 29 session, use Rs419,862 per tola for 24-karat gold, not Rs416,362. Mettis Global and ARY News support the October 29 figures.

How to interpret these rates
The rates are association-attributed Pakistan market benchmarks for a specific historical session. They are not guaranteed prices at every jeweler: a local quote may vary by city and seller. MM News notes this local variation, but its page conflicts on the date attached to the lower previous-session gold figures, so it is relevant here only to the variation caveat—not to the disputed October 29 price.
