On Saturday, 27 December 2025, the reported All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reference rates were Rs475,662 per tola for 24-karat gold and Rs8,407 per tola for 24-karat silver. The 10-gram rates were Rs407,803 for 24-karat gold and Rs7,207 for 24-karat silver. These are historical rates for that date, not current prices.

Business Recorder reported the same local benchmark values on 28 December and noted that open-market prices may differ from the association-fixed rates. Neither figure should be read as a guaranteed price available from every jeweller.
What changed from the previous trading day?
APP’s account gave the previous-trading-day 24-karat gold rate as Rs473,362 per tola and Rs405,831 per 10 grams. It listed 22-karat gold at Rs372,025 per 10 grams. Against those figures, the report’s daily changes were increases of Rs2,300 per tola for 24-karat gold, Rs1,972 per 10 grams for 24-karat gold, and Rs1,808 per 10 grams for 22-karat gold. The reported silver increase was Rs462 per tola.

International prices reported alongside the local rates
The APP-sourced report gave international gold at $4,533 per ounce, up $23, and silver at $79.32 per ounce, up $4.62. These were international figures reported with the 27 December 2025 local rates, not live or current market quotes. Per-ounce international quotes and Pakistan’s rupee-per-tola or rupee-per-10-gram association rates use different currencies and units, so they are not direct like-for-like prices.

How to interpret the figures
- Purity matters: 24-karat and 22-karat gold rates refer to different purities; compare rates only when the purity and weight unit match.
- Weight units matter: The report lists both per-tola and per-10-gram prices. Do not compare one unit directly with the other as if the weights were identical.
- The association rate is a benchmark: Business Recorder cautioned that open-market prices can differ. A jeweller’s offer may also reflect the specific item and transaction; the reports do not establish a uniform price for every city or seller.
- The rates are date-specific: They describe reported benchmarks on 27 December 2025 and should not be used as today’s quote.
