These are historical reported rates, not live prices. Pakistan Observer published higher figures for the same date, so the source matters when comparing exact amounts.

The daily changes are reported for that date; they should not be read as changes from a current price. PK Revenue and Mettis Global report matching domestic figures, but their reports do not establish that these were live quotes at the same instant.
Why same-day reports show different prices
Pakistan Observer’s report for 15 December 2025 lists 24-karat gold at PKR 455,800 per tola and PKR 390,780 per 10 grams. It gives silver as PKR 6,542 per tola and PKR 5,607 per 10 grams. Those figures are above the rates reported by PK Revenue and Mettis Global.

The available reports therefore do not support presenting a single figure as an independently verified official bulletin rate. For the table above, the figures followed are the matching PK Revenue and Mettis Global reports; readers comparing archived reports should note the publication-specific difference.
International prices reported that day
PK Revenue’s table lists international gold at USD 4,325 per ounce, up USD 26, and international silver at USD 62.60 per ounce, up USD 0.68. These are that publication’s reported snapshots, not a synchronized global closing price. Mettis Global separately describes spot gold trading near USD 4,343 per ounce in its market commentary, so the international figures differ by source and timing.

How local rates relate to global markets
PK Revenue says local prices are calculated using prevailing international prices and interbank exchange rates issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, and attributes the day’s increase to stronger international markets. That is the publication’s explanation of the movement, not an independently established causal finding.

What the rate means when comparing prices
- Check the date: these prices apply to 15 December 2025 and are not a current market quote.
- Check purity and unit: a 24-karat per-tola figure is not directly interchangeable with a 22-karat per-10-gram figure.
- Check the publisher: same-date reports did not all list the same domestic rates.
