Which HSSC TGT result notice should you check?
The HSSC Results page, displayed as last updated on 8 October 2026, lists a revised final result for TGT Science (ROH & Mewat Cadre), Advertisement 2/2023, Category Nos. 07 and 12. It also lists revised marks for TGT English (ROH), TGT Home Science (ROH & Mewat), TGT Physical Education (ROH & Mewat), TGT Sanskrit (ROH & Mewat), TGT Social Studies (Mewat), and TGT Punjabi (ROH) under Advertisements 2/2023 and 4/2023. The page includes other current result notices, so the phrase “TGT final result” does not identify one universal notice.
- Match the advertisement number on the notice to the advertisement for which you applied.
- Check the exact subject or post and cadre, such as ROH or Mewat, where specified.
- Confirm whether the entry is a revised final result or a revised-marks notice; they are not interchangeable.
How to check the HSSC TGT result by roll number
- Go to the official HSSC Results page.
- Find the listing with your advertisement number and exact TGT post or subject.
- Open its downloadable notice and verify the cadre, category and any conditions stated in that notice.
- Search the notice for your roll number and read the result in the relevant category. For the Advertisement 2/2023 revised final result, HSSC presents roll numbers category-wise and shows the marks of the last selected candidate in each category in brackets.
Do not infer selection from a page heading alone. The applicable PDF contains the post- and category-level details; a last-selected candidate’s marks are not a substitute for checking your own roll number in the matching category.
What the Advertisement 2/2023 revised final result changes
HSSC says the revised final result for various TGT posts in ROH and Mewat cadres under Advertisement 2/2023 was issued in compliance with the High Court order dated 27 October 2025 in CWP No. 29139-2024, Savita Rani vs State of Haryana and others, with connected matters. The Commission re-evaluated OMR answer sheets using a revised answer key. Its notice says the revised result supersedes the earlier result declared on 27 July 2024.

That supersession applies because the Advertisement 2/2023 notice expressly says so. For a different advertisement or subject, rely on that notice’s own wording rather than assuming an earlier result has been replaced.
Notice-specific dates and legal caveats
Separate notices can have distinct dates and conditions. For example, HSSC’s TGT Punjabi (ROH), Advertisement 4/2023, Category 1 revised final result is dated 28 May 2026. That notice says it followed the same court order and OMR re-evaluation process, and superseded the earlier result dated 10 August 2024. It also says results were withheld for some candidates in light of ongoing court cases, that the result remains subject to the final outcomes of those cases, and that HSSC reserves the right to rectify possible inadvertent or technical errors.
Those caveats are stated for the Punjabi notice. Check the notice for your own post and advertisement for its date, legal status and any other conditions; do not assume the Punjabi notice’s caveats apply to every TGT result.

- Check that you are looking under the right advertisement and subject; HSSC lists multiple TGT notices.
- Verify the cadre and category in the PDF before searching for your roll number.
- Use the live Results page for current post-specific instructions. HSSC’s FAQ says declared results are published on the Commission website and notes that selection takes time, but its historical examples should not replace the current notice.
HSSC’s recruitment information says advertisements provide category-wise posts, qualifications, pay scale, reservation and required documents; the mandatory examination syllabus is provided in the applicable post’s service rules. Those details concern recruitment and exam requirements, not access to the result.
