The HPSSC Clerk Post Code 887 result announced in November 2021 was a provisional shortlist for the typing skill test—not the final selection list. The written screening test took place on August 29, 2021; 185 candidates were shortlisted from 15,144 who appeared. To look for the historical notice, use the current Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) website and its results or notices area. A live official link to the original Post Code 887 result PDF has not been confirmed.
How to check the HPSSC Clerk 887 result
- Open the current HPPSC website. This is the Commission’s present site; it is not a verified direct link to the old result document.
- Go to the site’s results or notices section and look for a notice titled “Clerk Post Code: 887 Screening Test Result 2021” or similar wording.
- If you find a result document, search within it for your roll number. Check the notice heading and stage carefully: the 2021 list is for candidates shortlisted for the typing skill test.
- If the historical notice is not available on the current site, do not assume that an old HPSSC-domain link is still active or official. Third-party exam-information sites may reproduce result notices, but verify any copy against Commission records where possible.
Scroll.in reported the announcement on November 29, 2021, and described accessing it through the Commission’s then-used website and its notifications area. That historical route should not be treated as a confirmed working link today.
What the 2021 result means
The written objective screening test was held on August 29, 2021. Scroll.in and Himexam reported that 15,144 candidates appeared and 185 were provisionally shortlisted for the next stage. The recruitment was for 19 contract Clerk posts, Post Code 887, associated with a requisition from the Deputy Commissioner, Chamba. Himexam identifies the advertisement as No. 36-4/2020, dated November 19, 2020.
Being on the 2021 shortlist meant qualifying for the typing skill test; it did not mean that a candidate had been finally selected or appointed.

Typing test and final result
The 2021 result coverage listed January 11, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. for the typing test. Later reporting by Himexam says the test was held that day: 139 candidates appeared, 60 qualified, and the Commission compiled the final result for 19 posts. Himexam also reported that one SC(WFF) post remained vacant because no candidate was available.
These later figures describe the reported outcome of this recruitment. The 2022 final result is a separate stage from the 2021 screening-test shortlist; candidates seeking final selection information should look for the Clerk Post Code 887 final-result notice rather than rely on the screening list.

Sources and link status
The Scroll.in report on the screening-test result supports the November 2021 announcement context and the shortlist figures. Himexam’s report on the final result provides details about the typing test and later outcome; it is a secondary source, not the Commission itself. The current HPPSC site confirms where current notices and results are published, but does not establish that a historical direct PDF link is still live.
