Reece Wabara moved from professional football into fashion entrepreneurship: he founded Manière De Voir in 2013 and is identified by the company as its founder and CEO. The brand sells menswear and womenswear and now lists stores in London, New York and Dubai. The headline figure of “£35 million” should not be read as a verified company valuation or Wabara’s personal wealth: the available official filing-history record confirms 2024 group accounts were filed, but does not state revenue, profit or valuation.

Who is Reece Wabara?

Wabara is a former professional footballer who became the founder and CEO of fashion brand Manière De Voir. Manchester City’s archive places him on its academy pathway after he joined the club in 2007. In 2011, the club reported that he had signed a new three-year contract. At the time, he said he wanted to repay the club’s faith in him; that was a football-era comment, not a statement about his later business.

Manchester City’s contemporaneous coverage is available in its 2011 contract announcement, while the club’s academy archive documents his connection to its pathway.

How did Wabara move from football to fashion?

Wabara founded Manière De Voir in 2013. The company’s account of its approach describes in-house design and clothing intended to bridge high fashion and the high street. That is the brand’s own positioning, rather than an independent assessment of its quality or market status. The company sells both womenswear and menswear.

In a 2020 High Performance interview, Wabara was quoted as saying, “Turnover is irrelevant. It’s profit.” The line reflects a view he expressed in that interview; it does not establish the company’s current financial performance. The interview and transcript are on the High Performance podcast site.

What business does Reece Wabara own?

Manière De Voir is the fashion business Wabara founded and leads as CEO. Its current About page describes its design approach and lists womenswear, menswear and retail locations. The company currently lists New York, Oxford Street and Battersea Power Station in London, and Dubai Mall.

Those locations reflect a move beyond online retail. A 2023 FashionNetwork report described the Oxford Street opening as the brand’s first physical store and reported a 10-year lease for 5,189 square feet at 354 Oxford Street. Those lease details describe the arrangement reported at the time; they are not a statement about current lease terms. See FashionNetwork’s 2023 report.

Is Manière De Voir a £35 million business?

That phrase is not precise enough to establish what the number measures. A business’s revenue is the money it takes in over a period; profit is what remains after costs; valuation is an estimate of what the business is worth. None of those measures is interchangeable with a founder’s personal wealth.

The official Companies House filing history shows that group accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 were filed on 4 October 2025. The filing-history entry itself does not give a revenue, profit or valuation figure. Readers can check the company’s Companies House filing history for the underlying filings.

A 2024 LinkedIn repost of reporting said Wabara paid £9.4 million to buy Lewis Morgan’s stake and attributed £31 million in revenue and £6.6 million in pre-tax profit to an earlier accounting period. These are reported historical claims relayed through a social-media repost, not current performance figures or a verified valuation. Without the original report and the relevant accounts to establish the period and context, the figures should not be treated as evidence that the company is worth £35 million.

What is Reece Wabara’s net worth, and does he have a luxury lifestyle?

No reliable personal net-worth figure is established by the available sources. Nor do they verify specific claims about his home, cars, aircraft or other personal luxury assets. The reported scale or performance of a company cannot by itself show how much its founder personally owns: ownership stakes, liabilities, distributions and other assets all matter.

A later social post used “$35 million-plus revenue” language while describing a podcast discussion, but it is not a company filing and does not establish a comparable, audited current result. It also cannot substantiate Wabara’s personal wealth or lifestyle. Claims about luxury assets should therefore be treated as unresolved unless reliable, specific evidence is available.
