Bank of Baroda’s official bob World and digital-banking FAQs reviewed here do not explain error code 1515, so its cause and a code-specific fix cannot be verified. That does not prove the code has no meaning. Record the exact message and the action you were taking, check whether any transaction went through before trying again, and contact the bank through an official channel if the error persists.
What Bank of Baroda says about error code 1515
The bank’s bob World FAQ and digital-banking FAQ do not identify error code 1515 in the materials reviewed. The code’s meaning, cause, and remedy therefore remain unverified. Do not infer a cause from the number or assume that advice for a different error applies.
Bank of Baroda does document remedies for other, specifically named problems. For example, its bob World FAQ says an “Invalid Process” message can occur when activation takes long enough for the session to expire; it advises completing activation promptly with good cellular reception and trying Wi-Fi if needed. “Host failed to respond” is attributed to poor or very slow internet, while error 911 is described as a failure to receive a response from the Core Banking System. These explanations are for those messages—not confirmed fixes for 1515.
The same distinction applies to other FAQ guidance: an idle session may explain the reset-login-PIN message “Unable to process the request, please try again,” and the bank gives separate steps for OTPs that do not arrive. Use those instructions only if your own message and situation match the documented issue.

What to do when error 1515 appears
- Confirm the app and capture the details. Make sure the message appears in an official Bank of Baroda app. Note the exact wording, date and time, app name and version, the feature you were using, and what you did immediately before the error.
- Check for an uncertain transaction before retrying. If you were making a payment, transfer, or other transaction, check its status through an official bank channel first. The reviewed FAQ does not say what 1515 does to a transaction, so checking status before repeating the action is a prudent way to reduce the risk of a duplicate.
- Follow connectivity guidance only when it fits the message. If the screen also shows a connectivity-related error, follow the bank’s advice for that specific message. A connection problem has not been established as the cause of 1515.
- Contact the bank if the code recurs. Use the official customer-support and complaint channels to ask for help with the exact code and circumstances. You can also visit a branch if the issue needs account-specific review.
How to report the error safely
Give the bank the error text, when it appeared, the app name and version, and the action underway. Stick to channels listed on the bank’s official website or in its official app. Do not follow links or call numbers sent by unsolicited callers or messages offering to “fix” the error.
Bank of Baroda warns customers not to share an OTP, PIN, CVV, or complete card details. A person claiming to resolve error 1515 does not need those secrets from you.
