DoorDash announced a new dedicated downtown Toronto headquarters on March 10, 2025. The company says the 2,389-square-metre office is three times the size of its previous Toronto office; contemporaneous reporting puts it at 200 Wellington Street West, facing David Pecaut Square.

Where is DoorDash’s new Toronto office?

The office is at 200 Wellington Street West in Toronto’s Entertainment District, across from David Pecaut Square, according to MobileSyrup’s March 11, 2025 report. DoorDash announced the opening the day before in a company announcement.

How big is DoorDash’s Toronto office?

DoorDash says the office covers 2,389 square metres and is three times the size of its previous Toronto office. Those figures come from the company; its announcement does not give the previous office’s area, so a precise old-versus-new area calculation cannot be made from the published figures.

What is inside the office?

DoorDash describes a workplace designed for its flexible work model, with spaces for collaboration, focused work and events. The company lists more than 100 sit/stand workstations, phone booths, meeting rooms, a game room, and a parents/wellness room.

How does the opening fit DoorDash’s Toronto presence?

DoorDash had announced a Toronto engineering hub in May 2021, describing it as the company’s first international engineering hub and saying it planned to hire 50 engineers by the end of that year. That was a hiring plan at the time, not a current headcount or proof that all 50 positions were filled. The available announcements do not establish how the 2025 headquarters relates physically to the earlier engineering location.

At the 2025 opening, DoorDash Canada general manager Shilpa Arora said the headquarters would support further expansion in Canada and create more opportunities for local talent. That is the company’s stated aim, not a measured result. The announcements and contemporaneous coverage provide no independent statistic quantifying the office’s local economic impact.

Is DoorDash hiring in Toronto?

MobileSyrup reported more than 20 open DoorDash positions in March 2025, including roles in engineering, marketing, sales, and strategy and operations. That was a snapshot at the time of the opening; it does not establish which roles are available now. Consult DoorDash’s live careers listings for current vacancies.
