Neither target guarantees “solid gains,” and the available figures do not identify a millionaire-maker. At the cited supply levels, Dogecoin at $2 would imply a market capitalization of roughly $311 billion, while Shiba Inu at $0.0002 would imply about $118 billion if its circulating supply remained unchanged. Those are arithmetic scenarios—not forecasts, probabilities, or promises of returns.
What market capitalization would each target imply?
Token price alone can make a low-priced coin look inexpensive. A useful comparison is the market capitalization implied by a target: price multiplied by the number of tokens in circulation.

These estimates are based on dated source figures, and supply and market conditions can change. They do not mean either asset has reached those valuations or is likely to do so. Market capitalization is also not the amount of cash that would need to enter a token; it is a calculation based on price and circulating supply.
How DOGE and SHIB supply differ
DOGE issuance adds tokens over time
A 2026 SEC-filed registration statement excerpt describes Dogecoin issuance as 10,000 DOGE per block, with blocks produced approximately once per minute, and characterizes the policy as intentionally inflationary. This is a description in a filing, not an endorsement of DOGE by the SEC. Ongoing issuance means a future $2 market-cap estimate must account for the supply at that future date, not just today’s supply.

SHIB’s supply can change, but burns do not settle the question
SHIB’s cited circulation figure is about 589.24 trillion. Token burns may reduce supply, but the available figures do not establish a pace sufficient to make $0.0002 inevitable or to guarantee the target’s implied valuation. The $118 billion estimate is conditional on unchanged supply.
What evidence exists for demand beyond speculation?
Dogecoin’s guide emphasizes the asset’s reliance on market cycles and attention. Its history illustrates the risk: Coin Bureau reports a May 2021 high near $0.7316 followed by a decline of roughly 93% to the 2022 cycle low. That episode does not predict future performance, but it shows how sharply sentiment-driven prices can reverse.

SHIB has an ecosystem beyond the token. Shiba Inu’s official documentation describes Shibarium as an Ethereum Layer 2 and lists swaps, liquidity pools, governance, and bridges. It also explains that users can add Shibarium through MetaMask or another compatible wallet extension. These project-described features establish that the ecosystem exists; they do not show that it will create demand for SHIB at the scale implied by a $0.0002 price.
Which could make a holder a millionaire?
The target prices alone cannot answer that. The result for an individual depends on their purchase price, amount held, fees, taxes, and whether either target is reached. Neither the cited market-cap calculations nor the ecosystem descriptions establish that either token will outperform or make holders millionaires.

A more grounded comparison is conditional: DOGE’s continuing issuance can increase the supply basis for its target valuation, while SHIB’s $118 billion scenario depends on circulation staying near the cited level. DOGE has a documented history of a severe drawdown; SHIB’s documented ecosystem features are not proof of target-price demand. Future outcomes for both remain dependent on demand, supply, and broader cycle conditions.

- Check circulating supply and recalculate price multiplied by supply; do not compare coins by unit price alone.
- For DOGE, factor in continuing issuance when considering a target at a future date.
- For SHIB, treat any burn-based supply reduction as an uncertainty unless a measurable pace and time horizon are established.
- Separate current product features from evidence that users will generate enough token demand to support a particular valuation.
- Plan for substantial losses as well as gains; DOGE’s historical drawdown is a reminder that a past rally does not establish a safe floor or a repeatable cycle.
The cited Coin Bureau figures were updated in August 2026 for DOGE and May 4, 2026 for SHIB. Because supply and market values change, these estimates are snapshots rather than live valuations.
