Delta did announce a separate Seattle and Alaska fare event on October 6, 2026. It ran October 5–8 for travel from late October through March 10, 2027. That regional promotion is not evidence of Cyber Monday or Travel Tuesday terms.
What Delta offered during Cyber Monday 2025
Delta’s News Hub said its 2025 Cyber Monday event ran December 1–3, 2025. Travel dates varied by offer, with some starting in December 2025 and others in January 2026. These dates have passed and should not be used to plan a 2026 purchase.

Destinations and related offers
The 2025 announcement described destinations across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, South Africa, Asia, and the South Pacific. Examples included Marrakech, Cape Town, Melbourne, Taipei, Seoul, and four Hawaiian destinations. Those examples identify the scope of that historical promotion, not routes confirmed for a future sale.
The same event also promoted Delta Gift Cards, Delta Stays, Delta Cruises, Delta Cars, Delta Vacations, and Delta Shop. Delta said customers could save up to $250 on a Delta Vacations flight-and-hotel package during that 2025 promotion. That was a dated offer, not a current discount or a guaranteed saving on future packages.

How to evaluate a Delta sale fare
A sale headline is not enough to determine whether a ticket fits your trip or budget. Compare the actual itinerary and fare rules shown before purchase. Delta says quoted fares depend on availability and may change before ticketing.
- Booking deadline and travel dates: Confirm the offer’s exact purchase and travel windows. A fare may apply only on specific dates.
- Route and airports: Check the eligible origin and destination, and consider nearby airports if your schedule allows.
- Total price: Review the complete price and applicable fees for the itinerary rather than relying on a headline fare.
- Fare type and restrictions: Check the rules attached to the specific ticket, including change and cancellation options. Sale tickets do not necessarily share identical conditions.
- Seat assignment: Verify when and how your seat is assigned, and whether choosing a seat costs extra.
- Revenue or award travel: Establish whether the offer applies to a cash fare or award booking before comparing it with other options.
Delta’s fare guidance recommends trying different travel dates and times, checking nearby airports, and monitoring current deals because fares vary with demand and day. Its Delta Main Basic option is described as a price-oriented fare: seat assignment occurs after check-in, and restrictions include no SkyMiles earning, no upgrades, and limited refund or change options after the risk-free cancellation period. Check the rules for the fare you are actually buying, rather than assuming every sale fare has those restrictions.
