What is Dambii Lakk. 226/2014?
The Afaan Oromo title identifies the instrument as Dambii Sirna Carraa Hojii Uumuufi Ogummaa Naannoo Oromiyaa, Lakkoofsa 226/2014—Oromia Regional State’s regulation on the job-creation and vocational system. A reproduced copy gives a different number in its English rendering: “Number 226/2021.” The same document identifies the gazette issue as 12/2014 and gives December 23, 2021 in the English column. This is an apparent translation or calendar-year inconsistency; the English number should not be treated as settled without checking an official version. A procurement notice hosted by the Oromia Communication Bureau cites Regulation 226/2014 in connection with support letters for micro and small enterprises. That is evidence that the regulation has been referenced in at least one government procurement context; it does not establish all procurement requirements or prove the regulation’s current legal status. The bureau-hosted Kallacha Oromiyaa notice provides that limited corroborating example.
