Mylk’d was reported as a new dessert bar on Beaufort Street in Mount Lawley in July 2024. The opening story linked owner Clare’s business to a cookie stall she ran at the Inglewood night markets in 2020, but it does not establish the venue’s current hours, menu or operating status.
What was Mylk’d, and where was it reported to open?
PerthNow reported on 18 July 2024 that family-owned Mylk’d was opening on Beaufort Street in Mount Lawley. That is a dated opening announcement, not confirmation that the business is still open or that its location and service details remain the same. PerthNow’s opening report did not provide a current-hours update.
What did the opening report say Mylk’d served?
The launch-era story described coffee, freshly squeezed juices, Biscoff-flavoured crepes, warm brownies and cookies. It also said customers could make their own soft-serve creations. Chocolate and vanilla were described as planned staples, with rotating monthly flavours including matcha, pistachio and acai. These are offerings and plans reported at launch, not a verified current menu.
Did Mylk’d begin at the Inglewood night markets?
Owner Clare told PerthNow that the business idea began with a cookie stall she ran at the Inglewood night markets in 2020, and that she later expanded into brownies and crepes. The report quotes her: “This business idea was originally started with a cookie stall that I used to run back in 2020 at the Inglewood night markets on Beaufort Street and has now grown into my own small business,” she said. The article identifies her only as Clare, so a surname cannot be supplied from that source.

What is known about the Inglewood night markets?
The organiser, Inglewood on Beaufort Inc., says its Monday Night Markets began in 2014 as a grassroots local initiative to activate Beaufort Street and bring people together. Its page says the markets cannot run “this season” and that organisers are planning a return in Spring 2026. That is a stated plan, not confirmation that the markets have resumed or a date for a specific event. Read the organiser’s market information.
What does “huge upgrade” refer to?
The phrase appears in the PerthNow headline, but the story does not explain what was upgraded. The consulted market-organiser information also does not identify a particular upgrade, so it would be misleading to attribute one to the market, Beaufort Street or Mylk’d.
