The current Kohl’s Card account portal is Kohl’s Capital One. Kohl’s directs cardholders there to enroll, activate, and manage an account. The service may still be called “My Kohl’s Card,” but the current portal is Capital One-branded. This guide is for U.S. cardholders; check your card or statement if your product or servicing instructions differ.
What is the official MyKohlsCard login?
Kohl’s currently links account management from its account-services FAQ to the Capital One-branded portal at kohls.capitalone.com. The older “MyKohlsCard” name remains useful when searching, but use the official Kohl’s or Capital One destination rather than an unverified login page. Before entering credentials, check the address bar for the correct domain and HTTPS. Avoid login links in unsolicited messages, ads, or social posts.

How to sign in to your Kohl’s Card account
- Open the Kohl’s Capital One portal.
- Under “I have a Capital One online account,” select Sign In.
- Enter the username and password requested by the card portal, then complete any security verification it presents.
- After signing in, open the account area to review your balance, payment information, recent activity, or statements.
The current portal also displays Set Up My Account and Forgot Username or password? Interface wording can change, so follow the labels shown on the official site.
How to register for online access
- Go to the official portal and select Set Up My Account.
- Follow Capital One’s identity-verification and enrollment prompts.
- Create the requested sign-in credentials, then return to the portal and choose Sign In.
The public portal confirms the enrollment path but does not establish every field or document the enrollment flow may request. If verification fails, check that the card is eligible for that portal and that the information you enter matches the issuer’s records. If it still fails, use the number printed on your card rather than repeatedly trying different details.

Forgot your username or password?
Choose Forgot Username or password? on the card portal and follow its identity-verification instructions. If you cannot access the recovery email or phone number, contact the issuer using the number on the back of your card or your current statement.
A Kohl’s shopping account and a card-servicing account may have separate sign-in or recovery paths. If you are locked out of your Kohls.com shopping account, use that shopping-account help page; for card credentials, use the recovery link on the Capital One portal. Do not assume the two accounts share credentials.
How to pay your Kohl’s Card bill online
- Sign in through the official portal.
- Open the payment or bill-pay area and review the balance, minimum payment, and due date shown for your account.
- Enter the payment information and amount permitted by the live payment screen, then select a payment date.
- Review the amount, funding source, and date before submitting.
- Save the confirmation number and scheduled date, for example by keeping the confirmation page or screenshot.
Kohl’s says the online account can show balance and payment information and provide bill-payment access. Use the accepted payment methods and timing displayed for your account; do not assume every card or account accepts the same funding source or payment schedule.

Three events may happen at different times: you submit a payment, the issuer credits it to the account, and your bank withdraws the funds. Available credit may update on yet another schedule. Keep the confirmation details and compare them with your account activity and bank record.
An official Kohl’s statement disclosure says online requests received by 7 p.m. Central Time may be credited that day, while later requests may be credited the next calendar day. That is a statement-specific rule, not a guarantee for every current card product or payment. Check your current statement and the payment screen for the deadline that applies to you. The applicable card agreement also warns that available credit may not be restored immediately and, in some circumstances, may take up to 15 days; do not treat that qualified agreement language as a promise about every account.

If the payment is missing after the expected posting window, contact the issuer through the number on your card or statement and provide the confirmation details. Do not submit a duplicate payment until you have checked whether the first one was accepted or scheduled.
Kohl’s Card customer service and lost-card help
Use the Kohl’s customer-service center or the account-services FAQ for official help. For an account-specific issue, the number printed on the back of the card or on the current statement is the safest way to reach the correct servicing team. Kohl’s help material lists 1-800-564-5740 for certain Kohl’s Card assistance and lost/stolen-card reporting, but its help pages distinguish card products, so confirm the number for your card before relying on it.
If your card is lost or stolen, contact the issuer promptly using the number on the card or statement, or follow the lost-card directions in the Kohl’s card help material. Never send a full card number, password, or one-time security code in response to an unexpected call or message.

Kohl’s Card and Kohl’s Rewards Visa/Credit Card: check which one you have
Kohl’s help content distinguishes the older Kohl’s Card from newer Kohl’s Rewards Visa and Kohl’s Credit Card products, including different servicing routes. The current Capital One-branded portal says it can enroll, activate, and manage a Kohl’s Card account, but that wording alone does not establish that every card product uses identical servicing or activation steps. Check the issuer branding and instructions on your card or statement. If an older card is rejected by the portal, verify the product and call the number printed on it before creating another online account.
A card number’s length may help you identify which product you hold, but older Kohl’s help pages are not a current substitute for the card itself. Use the current statement or back-of-card contact information when the product or phone number is uncertain.
Fix common login and payment problems
The sign-in details are rejected
- Use Forgot Username or password? on the official card portal instead of repeatedly guessing.
- Check that you are using the card-account credentials requested by the portal, not automatically reusing shopping-account details.
- If recovery does not work, contact the issuer using the number on your card or statement.
Account setup or identity verification fails
- Confirm that your card product is eligible for the portal and that entered details match the issuer’s records.
- Try a current browser or a private window; if necessary, clear cookies or temporarily disable extensions that interfere with sign-in.
- If the identity check continues to fail, stop retrying and call the number printed on the card.
The portal will not load
- Try another current browser or device and check that JavaScript is enabled for the interactive site.
- Avoid entering financial credentials on public Wi-Fi.
- Start from Kohl’s official FAQ or type the portal address yourself; do not use an unofficial bill-pay site.
A payment was submitted but the balance has not changed
Check the confirmation and scheduled date, then allow for the posting timeline shown by your statement or account. The displayed balance, bank withdrawal, and available-credit restoration may not happen simultaneously. Contact the issuer if the payment remains missing beyond the expected window.

You received a suspicious login or payment message
Do not follow its link or share a one-time code with someone who contacts you unexpectedly. Open the official portal directly or use the number on your card to verify whether action is needed.
Activate a new Kohl’s Card
Kohl’s help material says a newly mailed Kohl’s Card can be activated through My Kohl’s Card. Start at the current portal and follow its activation flow if offered. Activation screens may differ by card product; if the portal does not recognize your card, use the activation instructions and contact number on the card or statement.
