The Diane von Furstenberg for Target collection was a limited-time, Target-exclusive collaboration created by Diane von Furstenberg and her granddaughter Talita von Furstenberg. Announced in February 2024 and launched March 23, it included more than 200 products across apparel, accessories, beauty and home—not just a wrap dress. Target’s original prices started at $4, with most items under $50; those figures describe the 2024 launch, not current prices.
What was the Diane von Furstenberg for Target collection?
It was a broad spring collaboration built around DVF’s recognizable prints and signature wrap dress, with clothing and household goods designed for Target. Target announced more than 200 items spanning women’s, girls’ and baby apparel and accessories, beauty and home décor. The Council of Fashion Designers of America also reported the collaboration and its March 23, 2024 launch date.
Target described the designs as drawing on Diane von Furstenberg’s archival prints alongside new patterns and pieces made exclusively for Target. Its announcement framed the collection as inspired by nature, women and art. Diane von Furstenberg said the aim was to offer timeless pieces that bring “effortless glamour and empowerment” to everyday life.
What products were included?
Clothing and accessories
The assortment included the signature wrap dress as well as activewear, loungewear, intimates and matching “mommy-and-me” outfits. The announced range also covered women’s, girls’ and baby apparel and accessories. Vogue’s March 23 launch-day coverage highlighted examples including a halter jumpsuit, a long-sleeve midi wrap dress, a tube top and an A-line skirt.

Vogue described the Target wrap dress as a long-sleeve, collarless jersey style priced at $50 at launch. That is a historical launch price, not a current offer. The article also reported archive prints including “animal poppy” and a 1970s gingko print.
Beauty and home
Home goods extended well beyond décor accents. Target’s March 13 preview showed throw pillows, duvets and towel sets, along with kitchen and dining pieces such as tablecloths, aprons, plates, cups, bowls, serving trays, glasses and pitchers. Beauty products were also part of the announced assortment.

Made-to-order furniture
The furniture offering comprised customizable headboards, benches and room dividers upholstered in one of seven exclusive collection fabrics. Target said in its February 2024 announcement that this made-to-order furniture started at $300 and would be assembled and shipped in four weeks or less. Both the price and timing were announcement-era details, not a present-day quote or delivery commitment.
When did it launch, and what did it cost?
Target announced the collaboration on February 20, 2024, and said it would launch March 23 on Target.com and in most Target stores, while supplies lasted. Target’s March 13 preview gave shoppers an advance look at the collection.

How to understand the collection’s appeal
The collaboration joined a well-known DVF design signature—the wrap dress and archival prints—with a much wider range of everyday categories. Its breadth matters: shoppers could encounter apparel, family matching pieces, beauty, linens, tableware and customizable furniture within the same collection. The original announcement positioned the range at accessible launch prices for most products, while the custom furniture sat at a substantially higher starting point.
