Its business case is that a shorter or faster route could matter to high-frequency traders—but the company’s advertised performance figures are not independently established in the public material cited here. CEO Vadim Limar’s role is to turn an established radio phenomenon into a commercial proposition; whether that proposition works depends on route-specific latency, reliability, regulation and customer economics.

How skywave radio works
Skywave is a way of sending radio signals beyond the horizon. A transmitter directs a signal upward; under suitable conditions, interaction with the ionosphere bends the radio wave back toward Earth, where a distant receiver can pick it up. The ionosphere is a region of the upper atmosphere containing charged particles. It is not a fixed mirror: propagation depends on factors including frequency, time of day, season, solar activity, geomagnetic conditions, route geometry and equipment.

High-frequency (HF) radio has long been used for long-distance communications. Bringo Net’s proposed distinction is not inventing skywave propagation, but engineering it for latency-sensitive commercial traffic. The company says its links may extend up to 10,000 km. - Latency: the time a signal takes to travel between points.
- Jitter: variation in packet delay; a link with a low average delay can still be difficult to use if delay varies widely.
- Availability: the proportion of time a service is usable, including how it behaves during faults and disruptions.
Why a millisecond could matter—and why it may not
In high-frequency trading, a firm receives market data, processes it and sends orders to a venue. A faster communication path could let a participant receive information or deliver an order earlier than a competitor. But that advantage is strategy-specific: it depends on the trading venue, market-data feed, fees, execution quality and whether the time saved changes an actual decision or queue position.
A faster radio segment does not automatically make an entire trading system faster or more profitable. Processing, gateways, network routing and exchange queues also consume time. A hypothetical firm might gain from a quicker route between two financial centers if that segment is the bottleneck and its strategy can use the improvement. The same gain could be immaterial if another part of the path is slower or if the signal does not alter execution. Milliseconds saved are not equivalent to a guaranteed return.

The proof a buyer would need
For a financial firm, a headline speed comparison is not enough to decide whether to use a route. A useful evaluation would measure the complete path between specified sites, under stated conditions, and include both typical and poor performance. It should also explain the baseline and test method so that a propagation result is not mistaken for a trading-system result.
- Exact route endpoints and the fiber route used for comparison.
- One-way and round-trip latency, with median, p95 and worst-case results.
- Jitter distribution, packet loss, retransmissions and sustained throughput.
- Availability, outage history and failover behavior.
- Performance during changing ionospheric conditions, including solar or geomagnetic disturbances.
- Independent test methodology, measurement period and whether the link is dedicated or shared.
- Regulatory status in each operating jurisdiction, installation requirements and total service costs.
- Integration requirements at data centers and trading venues, plus evidence that the latency improvement affects the buyer’s strategy.
Publicly available material cited here does not independently establish production uptime, jitter, error rates, customer contracts, transaction-level profitability or a verified 50% advantage over fiber on defined routes. It also does not establish public pricing, standard contract terms or an audited service-level guarantee.

A TechTimes profile reports that Bringo Net secured an experimental FCC license, but the sources cited here do not identify a specific license record, call sign or authorized operating scope for the advertised skywave service. A 2024 FCC filing includes Bringo Inc. entries in the 81–86 GHz, 92–94 GHz and 94.1–95 GHz ranges. Those are millimeter-wave bands; that filing alone does not establish authorization for Bringo Net’s HF skywave links or prove that an intercontinental commercial network is operating. FCC 2024 filing · FCC Experimental Licensing System
An experimental authorization, where applicable, is distinct from permission to provide a commercial service at scale. Deployment also depends on spectrum coordination, interference management, suitable antenna sites, power, security and approval in every relevant jurisdiction. A Florida corporate record lists BRINGO INC. as a foreign for-profit company incorporated on February 13, 2026, and identifies Limar as president and registered agent; that filing is a corporate-record fact, not evidence of network authorization or performance. Skywave versus fiber, microwave and satellite
No transport method is universally best. The useful comparison is between complete routes for a specific site pair, evaluated on latency, consistency, capacity, availability, cost and regulatory feasibility. A hybrid design may combine technologies rather than replace one with another.
| Architecture | Potential fit | Trade-offs to assess |
|---|---|---|
| Terrestrial or undersea fiber | High capacity and mature, widely supported connectivity. | Actual route length and routing determine latency; the shortest geographic line may not match the cable path. |
| Microwave or millimeter-wave terrestrial links | Point-to-point connectivity where line of sight and suitable sites are available. | Route geometry, site access, weather effects, spectrum and capacity must be evaluated for the particular link. |
| HF skywave | Long-distance communications that may avoid a continuous cable route and could offer a more direct path on selected pairs. | Variable propagation, spectrum coordination, antenna infrastructure, capacity and consistency require proof for the route. |
| Satellite | Coverage or resilience where terrestrial infrastructure is limited. | Suitability depends on the service and orbit; it should not be assumed to provide the lowest latency. |
| Hybrid fiber and wireless | Route diversity or a wireless segment paired with established fiber infrastructure. | Can add integration, failover and operational complexity; end-to-end performance still needs measurement. |
Colocation and proximity hosting are complementary choices: placing equipment closer to an exchange can reduce parts of the trading path, but does not replace the need to connect sites. For short routes, terrestrial microwave or fiber may be simpler. For very high-throughput traffic, fiber may be a better fit. If skywave conditions fluctuate, a firm may require a continuously available fallback; that can reduce the apparent simplicity of a wireless-versus-fiber comparison.
What is—and is not—established about the commercial case
Published coverage has mentioned firms including DRW, Virtu Financial and Jump Trading in the context of market outreach or industry analysis. The material cited here does not establish that they are Bringo Net customers, investors or signed users. Nor does it establish revenue, funding, customer contracts, public service pricing or independently audited performance.
Bringo Net’s proposition is an attempt to convert a known physical effect—long-distance ionospheric propagation—into a specialized service whose value would be measured in route latency, consistency, capacity, regulatory access and trading utility. The concept is distinct from proof of a dependable commercial advantage. For buyers, the decisive evidence would be independently measured end-to-end results on their route, including jitter and availability, alongside a clear account of costs and operational fallback.
