Adobe’s current U.S. promotion cuts Creative Cloud Pro to $34.99 per month for the first year, down from $69.99. It is for first-time individual Creative Cloud Pro subscribers and expires August 10, 2026.
The offer requires a 12-month commitment billed monthly, not a month-to-month subscription. After the promotional year, the plan renews at the then-current price, currently $69.99 per month, unless you change or cancel it. Taxes are extra.
What the Adobe Creative Cloud discount includes
Creative Cloud Pro is Adobe’s renamed version of the former “Creative Cloud All Apps” plan. It bundles more than 20 desktop applications, including:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Premiere
- After Effects
- InDesign
- Acrobat Pro
The plan also includes full access to supported Adobe web and mobile creative apps, unlimited standard generative-AI features, 4,000 monthly generative credits for premium video and audio features, selected third-party AI models in Firefly, Firefly Boards, Adobe Fonts, cloud storage, tutorials, Behance, Adobe Portfolio and other Creative Cloud services. Subscribers choose which apps to install; they are not all downloaded automatically. Adobe allows activation on up to two devices, but the same application cannot be used on both devices at the same time.

For people who use several Adobe applications, the bundle can cost less than subscribing to individual apps. Someone who only needs Photoshop occasionally may not use enough of the package to justify the annual commitment. The discount makes more sense for a designer, photographer, video editor, student or freelancer who expects to use multiple tools throughout the year.

At the advertised monthly price, 12 payments total $419.88 before tax, the annual figure shown on Adobe’s plans page. Adobe’s dedicated promotional terms page lists a different annual figure, $389.94. Because those figures conflict, verify the monthly price and total at checkout and save a copy of the order summary. There is conflicting information about how long the discount lasts
Adobe’s dedicated offer terms and main pricing display say the $34.99 price applies for the first year. An FAQ on Adobe’s Creative Cloud Pro page says “first three months,” which appears inconsistent or outdated. (Source: Adobe promotional terms and Adobe Creative Cloud Pro page.)
The dedicated promotional terms are the stronger reference for the offer. Before paying, check the checkout page and the terms linked from it. The renewal date and post-promotion price matter more to your budget than the initial monthly payment.

Creative Cloud Pro versus Creative Cloud Standard

Pro includes unlimited standard generative-AI features such as Generative Fill in Photoshop. It also provides 4,000 monthly generative credits for premium features including Text to Video, Translate Audio and Generative Extend in Premiere Pro, plus access to selected third-party models within Firefly.
Standard may be sufficient if you mainly work in desktop versions of Photoshop, Illustrator or Premiere and do not need Adobe’s expanded AI, web or mobile features. Pro is the better fit when those extras are part of your workflow—or when the promotional price makes the difference relatively small.
Student and teacher pricing may be cheaper

The plan requires a one-year commitment whether paid monthly or annually. Education customers must buy directly from Adobe or Adobe Sales. Students generally must be at least 13 and enrolled in an eligible school, college, university, primary or secondary school, or homeschool program. Teachers may need a school email address or proof such as a school ID, transcript, report card or tuition statement. Creative Cloud is not free for college students. Adobe offers a seven-day trial; if it is not canceled, the paid student subscription begins. The student discount is limited to eligible customers and is not available for OEM, commercial or volume licensing. Creative Cloud Standard does not qualify for the student-and-teacher discount.
How to decide whether the deal fits your budget
- List the applications you will actually use. If you need only one application, compare its standalone price with the bundle rather than assuming “all apps” is cheaper.
- Calculate the first-year total. At $34.99 for 12 months, the advertised subscription payments equal $419.88 before tax.
- Budget for renewal. At the currently listed renewal price, a second year would cost $839.88 before tax if the plan remains at $69.99 per month.
- Check the commitment. The offer requires a 12-month subscription commitment even though payments are monthly.
- Set a renewal reminder. Put a reminder 30 to 60 days before the promotional year ends so you can compare alternatives before the higher price begins.
- Keep the checkout records. Save the confirmation email, price, commitment, renewal date and cancellation terms.
The promotion saves $35 per month compared with the current regular price, or $420 over 12 months before tax. That saving disappears if you forget about the renewal and keep paying for applications you no longer use.
How to change or cancel Creative Cloud

Change the plan
- Sign in to your Adobe account.
- Under Plans, select Manage plan.
- Select Change your plan.
- Search for or select the replacement plan.
- Select Select plan.
- Choose the billing commitment from the Commitment dropdown.
- Review the details.
- Select Agree and subscribe.
The new plan starts immediately. Adobe may refund unused time on the old plan, charge for the new plan immediately and reset the billing date. Adobe says changing from one paid plan to another does not incur a cancellation fee. (Source: Adobe plan-change instructions.)
Cancel the plan
- Sign in to your Adobe account.
- Under Plans, select Manage plan.
- Select Cancel your plan.
- Review the plan details and select Continue to cancel.
- Select a reason and choose Continue.
- Review the cancellation details and select Confirm cancellation.
Adobe sends a cancellation confirmation by email. If you have multiple subscriptions, cancel each one separately. If Adobe is processing a payment or there is a payment problem, cancellation may be unavailable; Adobe advises waiting 24 hours and trying again. (Source: Adobe cancellation instructions.)

The phrase “billed monthly” does not mean you can necessarily cancel at any time without a cost. For an annual plan billed monthly, most plans are fully refundable if canceled within 14 days of the initial purchase. After that period, Adobe may charge an early-termination fee equal to 50% of the remaining contract balance. (Source: Adobe subscription terms.)
For example, if you cancel during month nine, three months remain. Adobe may charge half of those remaining payments. Service generally continues through the applicable billing period.

What happens to files after cancellation?
After cancellation, the account converts to a Creative Cloud free membership. Paid applications and services stop when the subscription ends, but files remain accessible subject to the free membership’s 5GB cloud-storage limit.
If your stored files exceed 5GB, Adobe says you have 30 days to move them out of cloud storage. Download important files before the paid plan ends, and do not assume that an installed Adobe application will continue working after cancellation. (Source: Adobe subscription terms.)
