Is the DSSSB 615-vacancy application link still open?
No. The notice, dated 31 July 2025, set an online application period from 18 August 2025 at noon until 16 September 2025 at 11:59 PM. It said the application link would be disabled after the deadline. As of 8 October 2026, this recruitment window has passed; the old notice is not a current opportunity to apply.
DSSSB directs candidates to its OARS portal for the latest recruitment and current vacancies. Use the portal linked through the official DSSSB website to find open notices rather than relying on the expired application link.
What did Advertisement No. 02/2025 include?
The advertisement invited applications for posts across departments, local bodies and autonomous bodies under the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Its total of 615 vacancies was tentative, based on information supplied by the relevant departments and bodies. It was the combined advertised total, not the count for either Mason or Junior Engineer.

The vacancy counts and pay scales are those stated in DSSSB’s 2025 advertisement. They do not establish the number of vacancies ultimately filled.
Mason eligibility and age limit
For Mason, Post Code 21/25, the notice gave a stated age range of 20–32 years. Age relaxation is subject to the rules in the advertisement. It listed two eligibility routes:

- A Mason trade certificate from a recognized institution, plus at least one year of practical Mason experience in a reputed establishment; or
- Literacy in Hindi or English, five years of Mason experience in a reputed establishment, and passing the prescribed trade test.

Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) eligibility and exam
Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical), Post Code 44/25, was listed under the Delhi Jal Board with a stated age range of 18–32 years, subject to applicable relaxation. The advertisement sets out post-specific educational and experience requirements; check the full entry for this post before deciding whether you qualify. The title “Junior Engineer” alone is not enough to establish eligibility.

The notice describes a two-hour, 200-mark one-tier technical examination. It assigns 100 questions for 100 marks to the general sections and 100 questions for 100 marks to the subject concerned, based on the qualification prescribed for the post. Examination schemes differ across post categories, so candidates should use the scheme and syllabus for their precise post code.

The notice directed eligible candidates to apply online through DSSSB’s OARS portal at dsssbonline.nic.in. Registration was described as a one-time exercise: candidates who had already registered were instructed to use their existing user ID and password.
The application fee listed for this notice was ₹100, payable through SBI e-pay. Women candidates and candidates in the SC, ST and PwBD categories, as well as specified ex-servicemen, were exempt subject to the conditions in the advertisement. These were the terms for the 2025 notice, not an indication of fees or exemptions for later recruitments.
What to check in a current DSSSB notice
Before preparing an application for any new DSSSB recruitment, match the exact post code against the official notice. Check the department, vacancy count, essential qualifications and experience, age limit and relaxation, pay level, and applicable examination scheme. Requirements and tests can vary between general, technical, teaching and other posts.
