The two largest categories together accounted for 1,825 vacancies. The remaining six categories made up the balance of the original 1,896 total.
Application dates and status
Applications were online only through DSSSB’s Online Application Registration System (OARS). The application period ran from 13 February 2024 to 13 March 2024, with a stated closing time of 11:59 p.m. The notice used 13 March 2024 as the date on which eligibility—including education, age and experience—was assessed. The window has expired, so candidates cannot apply under this advertisement now.

Qualifications varied by post
The original notice set role-specific education and registration requirements. Candidates were directed to consult the detailed advertisement and the recruitment rules provided by the relevant indenting department or body; a single qualification summary cannot accurately cover all eight roles.
Pharmacist
The notice required a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, or an equivalent qualification, from a recognized university, plus registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948. A selected candidate also had to register with the Delhi Pharmacy Council within six months of joining.
Nursing Officer
The notice listed more than one qualification route, including B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and a General Nursing and Midwifery diploma route, alongside nurse or nurse-midwife registration requirements. The applicable route and conditions should be read in the original notice rather than reduced to a degree-only requirement.
