Costco lists early shopping hours for Executive members beginning at 9 a.m.: until 10 a.m. Monday through Friday and Sunday, and until 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The benefit is effective June 30, 2025, but Costco says availability and warehouse hours may vary by location—check your specific warehouse before going.
What time can Costco Executive members shop?
Costco’s Executive Member Benefits page lists the following early-shopping schedule, effective June 30, 2025:
| Day | Executive-member hours listed by Costco |
|---|---|
| Monday–Friday | 9 a.m.–10 a.m. |
| Saturday | 9 a.m.–9:30 a.m. |
| Sunday | 9 a.m.–10 a.m. |
These are the listed early-access windows, not a guarantee that every warehouse follows the same hours. Costco Customer Service says earlier Executive hours may be available at your local warehouse and that warehouse hours can vary.
Does every Costco open early for Executive members?
Not necessarily. Costco’s June 30, 2025 customer-service FAQ says: “As of June 30, 2025, exclusive earlier shopping hours for Executive members may be available at your local warehouse.” The word “may” matters: the company’s general benefits schedule does not establish that every warehouse participates or uses identical hours.

To confirm your opening time, use Costco’s warehouse locator, select your local warehouse, and check its hours and any upcoming holiday closures or adjusted hours.
How does the schedule compare with standard hours?
At Costco’s Kirkland, Washington warehouse, the listed Gold Star and Business opening times are 10 a.m. Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. Sunday. That location shows a later start than the Executive schedule listed above, but it is one warehouse example—not a schedule to assume for other locations.

Costco’s published information confirms separate hours by membership tier at that location. It does not describe a new enforcement procedure, a card-scanning rule, penalties for arriving early, or a separate companywide enforcement date. The supported takeaway is that Costco lists an earlier window for Executive members and directs shoppers to verify local availability.
