That reply addresses the incident described in the thread; it does not establish that every delayed deposit was fixed or that Coinbase has a general deposit outage now. If money or crypto has not appeared, first identify the deposit type, then check Coinbase’s current status and the timeframe for that payment method or network.
What Coinbase acknowledged
In a customer thread on Reddit, an account identified as Coinbase Support replied: “Hey u/kohchella , good news — the deposit delay issue has now been resolved on our side! If your deposit still hasn’t shown up in your account, please send us a Modmail with the details, and we’ll help you sort it out.” Read the Reddit thread.
This is an acknowledgement about the particular reported incident, not a statement that all missing deposits were resolved. Customers in the thread described deposits that had not appeared, including cases where money had left PayPal or a bank. These are individual reports, not evidence of how often the issue occurred or what caused each delay.
First identify what kind of deposit is missing
“Deposit” can mean cash sent through a bank, a crypto transfer from another wallet, or a purchase. Those use different rails and have different expected timelines. Do not use a crypto transaction’s confirmation status to diagnose a bank transfer, or apply a bank-settlement estimate to an on-chain transfer.

Cash sent through a bank
Coinbase says cash funded through traditional banking rails such as ACH or wire typically takes 1–3 business days to settle. Timing varies by region, asset, and payment method. Coinbase also identifies bank checks outside its control and a required bank authorization that has not been approved as possible causes of delay. USD Fedwire to Coinbase Exchange
For USD Fedwire deposits to Coinbase Exchange specifically, Coinbase says funds typically appear one business day after initiation. The bank-account name must match the Coinbase account name, and leaving out a required reference number can delay receipt. Coinbase Exchange advises contacting its support if the funds have not arrived after three business days. These instructions apply to this Fedwire route, not every Coinbase deposit. Crypto sent on a blockchain
Coinbase credits a crypto deposit after the blockchain confirms it. Find the transaction hash, check its confirmation status on the relevant blockchain, and verify that Coinbase supports the asset and network used. Coinbase warns that assets sent over unsupported networks may be lost and says to contact support about potential recovery. Coinbase: Pending crypto transactions
Crypto deposits bridged from Layer 2 networks
Coinbase Exchange says deposits from Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, and Polygon can remain pending while bridging occurs. It says Optimism deposits are usually processed in minutes, while very large deposits or high bridging activity may rarely take up to seven days. Check whether Coinbase reports a current issue
Check the Coinbase Status page for a notice affecting the specific product, service, or blockchain network involved. The status history accessed October 8, 2026 showed several recent network-specific delays affecting crypto sends and receives; those notices said fiat deposits and withdrawals were not affected. The available status information does not establish an active general fiat-deposit incident. Status can change, so use the live page for the latest information.

- Classify the transaction. Determine whether it was cash from a bank, a purchase, or crypto transferred on-chain. Note the Coinbase product and payment method or network.
- Check status for the relevant service. Look for a current Coinbase notice affecting that product or network on the Coinbase Status page.
- For crypto, check the transaction itself. Use the transaction hash to inspect confirmations and confirm that the network is supported. If a deposit is confirmed on a supported network but still is not credited, contact Coinbase Support. Coinbase’s pending-transaction guidance explains the checks.
- For cash, review the payment instructions and timing. Check whether the transfer was initiated, whether Coinbase requires an authorization, and whether you entered the required details, such as a Fedwire reference number. Compare the elapsed time with the estimate for that specific rail and product; if it is past the stated timeframe, contact that product’s support channel. General bank-settlement guidance and Fedwire instructions cover different cases.
- Contact Coinbase through an official route if it remains missing. The Reddit support reply directed the affected customer to send Modmail. For your account, use Coinbase’s official support channels and provide the relevant transaction or payment details privately.
Do not post account, payment, or transaction details publicly, and do not rely on phone numbers from unverified search results. The acknowledgement does not establish that funds in an individual case are safe, recoverable, or already credited; Coinbase must confirm the status of that transaction.
