The first reported location opened on October 30, 2025. Daybright serves coffee, smoothies, juices and food, but not Chick-fil-A’s core menu items. Its launch coverage is historical; current hours and operating status have not been confirmed.
What is Daybright?
Daybright is a standalone restaurant concept developed by Red Wagon Ventures, a Chick-fil-A subsidiary established to explore ventures beyond Chick-fil-A restaurants. It is not a new beverage line inside Chick-fil-A locations, nor is it a Chick-fil-A restaurant with the familiar chicken menu. The company said Daybright would not serve Chick-fil-A menu items. QSR Magazine and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported the announcement on September 23, 2025.
Where is the first location?
The first reported Daybright opened at 4326 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway in Hiram, in Paulding County northwest of Atlanta. Atlanta News First reported the opening on October 30, 2025, describing a dining room and dual drive-through.
The opening report listed hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with the restaurant closed Sunday. Those are opening-period hours, not confirmation of the schedule today. Current operating status and hours have not been verified, so check the location’s current listing before making a trip.

What did Daybright serve at launch?
Launch coverage described a menu built around specialty coffee, smoothies, cold-pressed juice and food. On opening day, QSR Magazine reported cold brew, specialty lattes and coffee classics, alongside iced teas and lemonades on tap and sparkling fruit drinks called Fizzes. It said the coffee was sourced through Thrive Farmers, sent to a local Atlanta-area roaster, and ground and prepared in-store. These are reported launch details; they do not establish what is on the current menu. QSR Magazine’s opening-day report has further details.
Why did Chick-fil-A announce it?
When the concept was announced in September 2025, Chick-fil-A described Daybright as a beverage-focused restaurant planned for the Greater Atlanta area that fall. Red Wagon Ventures vice president David Farmer said the concept was designed around convenient beverages and portable food for busy customers. The announcement was a new restaurant venture, not a change to the menu at Chick-fil-A locations.
