The company announced a nationwide launch for August 24, 2026; participating U.S. locations are listing them for a limited time through November 14, 2026.
What are Chick-fil-A’s Chicken & Waffles sandwiches?
Both versions pair a maple-flavored waffle with a chicken filet, three strips of applewood-smoked bacon and honey butter spread. Classic syrup comes on the side. Customers can choose an original, spicy or grilled filet, according to Chick-fil-A’s current FAQ.
The breakfast item uses smaller portions; the entrée version is larger. Chick-fil-A’s August 12, 2026 announcement describes the components of both sandwiches.

When and where are the sandwiches available?
Chick-fil-A announced the nationwide launch for August 24, 2026, at participating restaurants. Its FAQ lists the limited-time availability window as August 24 through November 14, 2026. That window does not guarantee that every restaurant will carry the sandwiches for the entire period; confirm availability with your local restaurant.
How can you order?
Order through the Chick-fil-A app, online, or at a local restaurant. Pickup and delivery are listed as options, subject to local availability. The sandwiches are not on the catering menu, according to the official FAQ.

Why is Chick-fil-A bringing them back?
The company says the nationwide launch follows a limited-time test in 2025. In an August 24, 2026 company feature, Chick-fil-A placed the menu in its “Newstalgia”-inspired celebrations and described it as a fresh take on a familiar comfort-food combination.
