Niagahoster becomes Hostinger: Local expertise meets global innovation under one brand

Niagahoster is now operating under the Hostinger brand. Here is what former customers need to know about service continuity, Indonesian support, nameservers, migration, and renewal pricing.

Niagahoster is no longer presented as a standalone Indonesian hosting brand. Hostinger announced on June 18, 2025, that it had brought Niagahoster under the Hostinger name after a technical migration in 2024.

For customers, this is primarily a branding and account-management change—not a signal that every website must be moved manually or that Indonesian support has disappeared. The practical questions are whether your service remains active, where to find your current DNS details, and what the change means for future billing and renewals.

What happened to Niagahoster?

Hostinger described the change as a rebrand and integration of its Indonesian operation into one unified Hostinger brand. It did not present the announcement as evidence of a separate legal-company merger or acquisition.

The technical migration took place in 2024, while the public rebrand was announced in June 2025. Hostinger said Niagahoster had been operating for 13 years at the time of the announcement, but its announcement did not specify an exact founding date.

The change is now visible to visitors: niagahoster.co.id redirects to Hostinger’s Indonesian website at hostinger.com/id. The destination is branded Hostinger and offers products such as hosting, domains, Website Builder, VPS, email, and AI tools.

What this means for existing customers

Hostinger said existing Niagahoster customers would continue receiving their services without disruption and would be redirected to Hostinger rather than being required to open a new account with another provider.

The company also said that:

  • Services would remain available in Indonesian.
  • The local Indonesian team would continue supporting customers under the Hostinger name.
  • Service-plan prices would remain the same during the transition.

That last point needs careful interpretation. “The same during the transition” is not a permanent price guarantee. It does not automatically cover future renewals, new plans, promotional pricing, taxes, add-ons, or later changes to the product catalog. Treat your next renewal invoice—not the old Niagahoster name—as the document that determines what you will actually pay.

Hostinger said its Yogyakarta office had more than 200 local team members, representing about 20% of total company headcount at the time of the June 2025 announcement. That is a dated company figure, not a current staffing count, but it supports the company’s statement that the Indonesian operation was continuing rather than being eliminated.

Do former Niagahoster customers need to migrate their websites?

Not as a general rule. Hostinger’s announcement said customers would be redirected and would experience no service disruption during the transition. That is different from asking every customer to download a backup, buy a new plan, and rebuild a website.

You should still check your account if you have an active business website, domain, email service, or recurring payment. The rebrand is a good reason to confirm that:

  1. You can sign in to the current Hostinger account or hPanel.
  2. Your domains and hosting plans appear in the account.
  3. Automatic renewal is set the way you expect.
  4. Your payment method and billing email are current.
  5. You have a recent website and database backup.
  6. Your contact details and Indonesian-language support preferences are correct.

These are ordinary account-management checks, not evidence that a manual migration is required.

Nameservers: the main technical issue to check

The old Niagahoster nameservers have not become universally invalid. Hostinger’s support documentation still lists ns1.niagahoster.com and ns2.niagahoster.com for “Niagahoster cPanel (Legacy)” plans. Those plans are no longer available for new purchases, but existing active customers may still use them.

Do not copy those nameservers into a current Hostinger account simply because they contain the old brand name. Hostinger says nameservers vary by domain and hosting type. Use the values shown in your own hPanel account.

Find nameservers for web or cloud hosting

  1. Open hPanel → Websites.
  2. Click Dashboard beside the relevant domain.
  3. In the left sidebar, select Hosting plan → Plan Details.
  4. Read the values in the Nameservers card.

Find nameservers for Agency hosting

  1. Go to hPanel → Websites.
  2. Click Dashboard.
  3. Select Plan Details directly in the left sidebar.
  4. Check the Nameservers card.

Find nameservers for a VPS

  1. Open hPanel → VPS.
  2. Click Manage beside the server.
  3. Select DNS Manager in the left sidebar.
  4. Read the nameservers shown in the domain list.

Find nameservers for a legacy cPanel plan

  1. Open the hPanel home page.
  2. Click Manage beside the cPanel plan.
  3. Scroll to Nameservers and IP address.

After changing nameservers, DNS propagation can take up to 24 hours globally. During that period, different visitors or networks may temporarily receive different DNS results. Avoid repeatedly changing the records while waiting, because that can make troubleshooting harder.

What the rebrand means for your hosting budget

For personal finances, the important distinction is between a brand change and a contract-price guarantee. The rebrand itself does not establish that every customer’s price will remain unchanged indefinitely.

Before your next billing date, compare:

Check Why it matters
Renewal price Introductory rates may not be the same as renewal rates.
Billing term A monthly, annual, or multiyear term changes the effective monthly cost.
Included resources Storage, email accounts, domains, backups, and support limits may differ by plan.
Add-ons Domain privacy, extra mailboxes, backups, and security tools can increase the total.
Currency and taxes The amount charged can differ from the advertised base price.
Cancellation terms Check refund eligibility and renewal cancellation deadlines before switching plans.

Record the current plan name, renewal date, and expected charge. If the amount changes, contact Hostinger through the account support channel before cancelling anything. Keep copies of invoices and confirmation emails, especially if the hosting supports a business, online store, or paid client work.

What has not changed—and what has

Question Practical answer
Is Niagahoster still the public-facing brand? No. The Indonesian site and redirect now use Hostinger.
Must all customers manually move their websites? No general manual migration requirement was stated by Hostinger.
Is Indonesian-language service gone? No. Hostinger said Indonesian-language services and the local team would remain.
Are the old Niagahoster nameservers always wrong? No. They remain documented for certain legacy cPanel plans.
Are old prices guaranteed forever? No. The announcement referred to unchanged prices during the transition.

Should you change anything now?

If your website is working and your account is accessible, there is usually no need to make a rushed DNS or hosting change solely because of the rebrand. Instead:

  1. Sign in through the current Hostinger website rather than relying on old bookmarks.
  2. Confirm that your domains, hosting, email, and files are visible.
  3. Save a backup before making technical changes.
  4. Review the next renewal amount and billing date.
  5. Use hPanel to retrieve the exact nameservers for your plan.
  6. Contact support if a domain, invoice, or service is missing.

If you are launching a new website, compare Hostinger’s current Indonesian plans on their present terms. Do not assume that a former Niagahoster plan has identical limits, pricing, renewal costs, or included features simply because the service originated under the old brand.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Can I still use ns1.niagahoster.com and ns2.niagahoster.com?

Those nameservers remain documented for existing Niagahoster cPanel legacy plans. They should not be assumed to work for current Hostinger web, cloud, Agency, or VPS services; use the nameservers displayed in hPanel.

Will my Niagahoster price stay the same permanently?

Hostinger stated that service-plan prices would remain the same during the transition. That is not a permanent guarantee for later renewals, promotions, taxes, add-ons, or newly introduced plans. Check your next invoice and renewal terms.

The Bottom Line

Niagahoster has been brought under the Hostinger brand, but the change does not generally require customers to rebuild or manually move their websites. Indonesian-language service and local support were retained, while the old Niagahoster identity remains mainly in legacy infrastructure such as certain cPanel nameservers. For your finances, verify renewal pricing and billing terms; for your website, use the exact DNS values shown in hPanel rather than relying on old brand-based assumptions.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
