Yes. Costco says members can view in-warehouse receipts online for up to two years and Costco.com order history for the last two years. For older records, the route depends on where you bought the item: visit a local warehouse membership desk for an in-warehouse purchase, or contact Costco customer service for a Costco.com order. These are ways to request records, not a guarantee that every older transaction can be recovered.
Find an in-warehouse receipt online
- Verify your membership. Sign in to the Costco.com account linked to the membership. Costco requires membership verification to view warehouse purchase history.
- Open the receipt history. Go to Orders & Returns, then under Orders & Purchases select the In-Warehouse tab.
- Choose a date range. Use the Showing dropdown to select a six-month period. Costco says online warehouse receipts are available in six-month increments for up to two years.
- Open or print the record. Find the transaction, select View Receipt, then choose Print Receipt if you need a paper copy.
For a warehouse purchase older than two years, Costco directs members to the membership desk at a local warehouse. Its duplicate-receipt guidance asks you to bring photo ID, your Costco membership number, and the purchase date. Costco describes this as the route to request an older receipt; it does not state that every older transaction can be retrieved. Find a Costco.com order or invoice
- On Costco.com, select Orders & Returns and sign in.
- Choose the order date range. Costco says the online order history covers the last two years in three-month increments.
- Open the order using View Order Details. Costco says receipts for online orders within two years can be printed as invoices.
For order history older than two years, or if you cannot view or print the record, contact Costco customer service. Costco’s receipt guidance says it can email a copy to the original “Bill To” email address. This is a request route rather than a stated guarantee that every old order record remains available. Why a warehouse purchase may not appear
- Wrong account or membership: Warehouse history displayed online is tied to the membership linked to the Costco.com account you are signed into.
- Recent purchase: Costco says a new warehouse transaction can take up to 24 hours to appear.
- Excluded purchase type: Costco lists Instacart orders, food court, optical, and travel among purchases not shown in online warehouse purchase history. Contact a local warehouse or Costco customer service about these records.
- Gasoline transaction: Costco says gasoline purchases appear in warehouse history only for purchases made on or after September 30, 2024.
- Pharmacy transaction: Costco says pharmacy purchases display “Universal” on the transaction receipt.
These limitations apply to the online warehouse history; a missing entry does not by itself establish that Costco has no record. For transactions that are excluded or still missing, ask the local warehouse or customer service about the appropriate record request.
