Answer key versus final answer key
CTET lists a separate “CTET Dec22 Final Answer Key” page, dated March 3, 2023. This is distinct from the “CTET Dec22 Answer Key” document entry. The official archive places the Dec22 entry under “Previous Year Final Answer Key,” so check the displayed title and date on the page before downloading to confirm which version you have opened.
Check the key against the December 2022 question paper
The CTET archive also has a “Question Paper December 2022” section with papers organized by exam date. Use the official CTET archive to locate the relevant paper and compare it with the answer key.

What happened to answer-key challenges
CTET’s notice dated February 14, 2023 says the 16th edition was conducted in computer-based mode on dates from December 28, 2022, through February 7, 2023. The notice also said candidates’ attempted question papers were available in their log-ins.
For that cycle, candidates could challenge a key online through “Submit Key Challenge” from February 14 until 12:00 noon on February 17, 2023. The fee was Rs. 1,000 per question, payable by credit or debit card by the deadline. Challenges by email, post, or in person were not accepted. Subject experts reviewed paid challenges; if a challenge was accepted because the key contained an error, the fee was to be refunded. The notice said the experts’ decision was final. These were deadlines and rules for the 2022 exam cycle, not current instructions for a later CTET exam. Read the official February 14, 2023 challenge notice for its full terms.
