For the December 2024 cycle, applications were accepted online only, and each candidate could submit one application. NTA’s bulletin described a process of registering, completing the form and uploading documents, paying online, then downloading and saving the confirmation page after successful payment. CSIR NET December 2024 exam date and format
NTA’s opening notice scheduled the examination for February 16–28, 2025. It was announced as a 180-minute computer-based objective multiple-choice test, available in English and Hindi. A candidate’s centre, date and shift were to be stated on the admit card.

In its December 9, 2024 public notice, NTA described the test as determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor; appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.; or admission to Ph.D. only. The notice said the examination would be conducted in computer-based test mode.

The official archive lists December 2024 scores, the final answer key, examination notices, and candidate score-card and certificate links. The cycle is therefore a completed, archived examination; candidates seeking records should use the official archive rather than treat the old registration notice as an active application route.
