Which 2025 session did the notice cover?
There were two CSIR-UGC NET examination sessions in 2025. NTA published the June session’s city-slip notice on 19 July for an examination scheduled on 28 July. For the December session, NTA issued its notice on 8 December for the examination on 18 December. The December city-intimation notice remains among the archived items on the official portal.

The June 2025 schedule notice said city details would be provided through an advance city-intimation slip 8–10 days before the examination. That timing applied to the June 2025 notice and is not a guarantee for later exam cycles.
How to find and download a 2025 city-intimation slip
- Go to the official CSIR-UGC NET portal and look in its notices or archive for the correct session.
- Open that session’s city-intimation notice and follow its link. For June 2025, NTA specified the application number and date of birth. The December notice directed candidates to log in with their credentials but did not specify the exact fields in its available text.
- If the page still provides access, enter the credentials requested there and save or download the displayed slip. The 2025 link may no longer be live.
- Check the separately issued admit card for the exam-centre address and candidate instructions.
What the city slip tells you—and what it does not
The advance slip tells a candidate the city in which the examination centre will be located. It is not the admit card and should not be treated as confirmation of the exact venue or as the document to take in place of an admit card. NTA stated in its 8 December 2025 notice: “The Candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for the Examination.” The admit card is issued separately.

December 2025 exam schedule
The official December schedule set the examination for 18 December 2025. It listed a duration of 180 minutes and two shifts:

Where to look for current-cycle information
The official CSIR-UGC NET portal now lists later-cycle materials, including June 2025 score-card and certificate links; the CSIR documents index also includes June 2026 city-intimation and admit-card materials. These entries show that the 2025 alert has been superseded, but they do not establish the status of any other active cycle. Check the latest notice and its support details on the official portal rather than relying on old instructions.
The June 2025 notice listed NTA helpdesk number 011-40759000 and email [email protected] for download difficulties. Because those details appeared in a past-cycle notice, confirm support contacts in the notice for the session you need.
