The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 exam city intimation slip on 8 December 2025 and said it was hosted on csirnet.nta.nic.in. The NTA candidate portal identifies the session as Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 and provides registered-candidate account access. Its page also says the new-candidate registration schedule is over. Those details do not confirm that an individual’s old city slip remains available to download. If you need to check your account, follow the current instructions on the official examination site.
Which exam and dates the notice covered
The notice concerned the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 examination—not a current or upcoming session. NTA’s official schedule set the exam for 18 December 2025, with a duration of 180 minutes. It listed Shift 1 as 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and Shift 2 as 03:00 p.m. to 06:00 p.m.

What the city intimation slip was for
NTA described the document as advance information about the examination city allotted to applicants. Its 8 December notice stated: “Advance Intimation Slip informing the candidates of the allotment of the exam city as per above schedule has been hosted on the website https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/.” This was a city-intimation notice; the notice itself does not establish current access to a candidate’s copy.
