Candidates were asked to check or download the slip using their application number and date of birth. It was advance information about the examination city—not the admit card—and CMAT 2025 took place on 25 January 2025. The release is historical; do not assume the old login link is still active.
CMAT 2025 city slip: download route
NTA’s notice directed candidates to use their application number and date of birth to check or download the Examination City Intimation Slip. A contemporaneous Hindustan Times report described the following route on the NTA CMAT site:
- Visit the NTA CMAT website.
- Select the CMAT 2025 exam-city-slip link.
- Enter the application number and date of birth, then submit.
- Review the displayed city-intimation slip and download it. Candidates could keep a hard copy if useful.
This is the workflow reported at the time, not confirmation that the historical login remains available now. The current official CMAT documents page surfaces materials for the 2026 cycle. [c002] [c003]
What the slip did—and did not—tell candidates
NTA described the document as advance information about the city where the examination centre would be located, to help candidates make arrangements. It was not the admit card. NTA said the admit card would be issued later; the city-slip notice does not establish that the slip itself contained the centre’s full address. [c001]

In practical terms, candidates could use the city information for preliminary planning, but needed the separate admit card for subsequent exam details. The notice did not require printing the city slip; a hard copy was an optional suggestion in the contemporaneous report. [c001] [c002]
CMAT 2025 notice and exam schedule
- City-intimation notice: 17 January 2025.
- Examination date: 25 January 2025.
- Mode: Computer-based test (CBT).
- Shift I: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on 25 January 2025.
- Shift II: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on 25 January 2025.
