When the CG SET 2019 answer keys were reported
Two contemporaneous reports give different dates and contexts, so they should not be treated as a confirmed release history for a single key version:
- India Today reported on September 19, 2019, that CGPEB had released an answer key that day and linked to a PDF then hosted on the official CG Vyapam site. It reported that the exam had been held on September 8.
- Scroll reported on November 28, 2019, that answer keys were released and objections could be submitted by December 2 at 5:00 pm.
The reports establish that answer-key links were published or available at those times; they do not establish whether the earlier and later references were the same files or different versions.
Which answer key to look for
The archived reports describe separate access for General Paper I and Paper II. Jagran Josh reported that Paper I answer keys for sets A, B, C and D were included in one PDF, while Paper II keys were linked separately by subject.

- Political Science, Economics, Sociology, and History

Contemporaneous reports directed candidates to the CG Vyapam website at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. India Today also linked directly to an official-domain PDF at the time. The reports do not confirm that the old links or files still resolve, so treat any current search result as an archive lead rather than a working official download.

- Start at the official CG Vyapam website and look for an archive or notice related to CG SET 2019.
- Identify General Paper I and select the matching set, A through D, or choose Paper II and the subject you took.
- Before relying on a file, confirm that it is hosted by the board or clearly traceable to its original official notice. An unattributed repost is not proof of an official key.
A historical answer key is not a live result page. The reported result declaration date appears on a later certificate copy hosted by an educational institution, not in a directly verified board result announcement.
The objection deadline has passed
Scroll’s November 28, 2019 report stated that candidates could raise objections by December 2, 2019, at 5:00 pm, following the format and email address in the notification. That deadline is over; the reported email route should not be treated as an open way to challenge a key now.
What the exam was for
Scroll described the State Eligibility Test as a qualification examination for eligibility to apply for Assistant Professor roles in Chhattisgarh. A later reproduced CG SET certificate describes the 2019 test as relevant to specified teaching, librarian and sports officer posts, and says the qualification is valid in Chhattisgarh only. That wording comes from a certificate copy hosted by an educational institution rather than a board-hosted result notice.
For exam timing, India Today reported that Paper I ran from 10:00 to 11:00 am and Paper II from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on September 8, 2019. The September 8 exam date is also stated in the reproduced certificate. The certificate copy gives June 24, 2020, as the result declaration date; this date is not independently confirmed here by a board announcement.
