PerthNow’s June 16, 2024 roundup featured three homes in City Beach, Kensington and Innaloo, each with a different appeal: custom architecture, a character home with a contemporary extension, and a newly built villa. Their sale deadlines and the villa’s reported asking price are historical details—not confirmation that any property is still for sale.
What the 2024 roundup reported
The three properties were marketed in June 2024. PerthNow’s report described the homes and their campaigns as follows: PerthNow, June 16, 2024.
| Property | Bedrooms, bathrooms and parking | Reported campaign detail | What stood out in the report |
|---|---|---|---|
| 18 Callington Avenue, City Beach | 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 car spaces | Set-date sale; offers due June 26, 2024, at 5 p.m. Agent: Scott Swingler of Shore Property. | Custom-designed home on a triangular block, with north-facing indoor-outdoor living, a pool, and a central atrium and bridge separating family wings. |
| 64 Dyson Street, Kensington | 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 5 car spaces | Offers due June 30, 2024, at 4 p.m. Agent: Jac Fear Team of Art of Real Estate. | Original character combined with contemporary conveniences through a restoration and extension; the report noted a large yard with space for a pool. |
| 9 Hill Street, Innaloo | 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car spaces | “From $869,000” — PerthNow listing report, 2024. Agents: Troy Smith and Cameron Cherubino of Mouve Real Estate. | Newly built villa. The report placed it about 10 km from the city centre and less than 5 km from Scarborough Beach, near shopping centres, cafes and eateries. |
How the homes differ
City Beach: a design-led family layout
The City Beach listing was presented around its bespoke layout and use of the block. North-facing indoor-outdoor living, a pool, and a central atrium and bridge were the defining features described in the 2024 article. Those details may help explain the home’s appeal to buyers who value distinctive architecture and connected family spaces, but they do not establish its current condition or sale status.
Kensington: character with room to grow
The Kensington home was framed as a blend of original character and updated living, with a restoration and extension, six bedrooms and a large yard. The report said there was space for a pool; it did not say a pool was already installed.
#1 Best Overall
Innaloo: a new villa and a reported starting price
Innaloo was the only property in the roundup with a stated price: “From $869,000” in PerthNow’s 2024 listing report. Treat this as a historical advertised starting price, not a current asking price or a valuation. The article also reported proximity to the city, Scarborough Beach and local amenities; those distances and nearby offerings have not been independently confirmed here.

The reported offer deadlines—June 26 and June 30, 2024—have passed. The roundup does not establish whether any home sold, remains available, or has since been relisted. Before arranging an inspection or relying on any campaign detail, check current listing records or contact the relevant agent. Confirm the current price and sale method, availability, property inclusions, and any claims about renovations, dimensions or amenities directly with an appropriate source.
Rank #2
The article offers no common valuation method or market-wide data, so the three listings cannot support a like-for-like value comparison or conclusions about suburb prices and trends. It is best read as a snapshot of what was being marketed in June 2024.
