Did every sausage sale go to Telethon?
For the 2025 event, Bunnings’ announcement said 100 per cent of proceeds from every sausage sold would go directly to Telethon. That statement applies to the specific 2025 fundraiser; it should not be read as confirmation of the terms of a future event. PerthNow’s 2024 report described the BBQ as raising funds for children in WA, but did not give the same explicit 100 per cent wording.
Bunnings also described register donations and children’s Positivity Pegs as additional fundraising activities during the 2025 Telethon Weekend. These were separate from the sausage-sale proceeds statement.

How much did Bunnings raise for Telethon?
Bunnings’ 13 October 2025 announcement said WA stores raised $65,000 for the previous year’s Telethon Weekend. That is the organiser’s figure for the preceding year, not the 2025 result.
