That is an official, jurisdiction-specific registration finding—not a court judgment that the firm committed fraud, and not proof of its current status worldwide. Treat the warning seriously, and do not send money unless you independently confirm the operator’s current authorization in your jurisdiction.
The BCSC said it had learned that Swift Bit Options had accepted funds from a British Columbia resident. The notice does not establish what happened to those funds. Its warning supports caution, but does not by itself prove that every service the company claimed to offer was available or that the company was a scam.
What is Swift Bit Options?
The BCSC notice says Swift Bit Options Ltd. claimed to offer investment accounts for binary options, cryptocurrencies, forex, contracts for difference (CFDs), options and other investment products. Those are claims recorded by the regulator, not independent confirmation that each service was available.
The BCSC’s notice states that Swift Bit Options Ltd. “is not registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC.” The finding is about registration in British Columbia as of the notice dated November 15, 2018. It does not establish the firm’s current operating status or authorization elsewhere.

- BUILT FOR YOUR MARKET, FUTURES, STOCKS, FOREX, OPTIONS & CRYPTO: 4X is a mindset and process journal, not a strategy tool tied to one instrument. The plan, the trade log, the deep dive and the weekly review work the same whether you trade ES, EURUSD, SPY or BTC. Traders use it across all five markets every day.
- THE 2026 EDITION, REBUILT FROM TRADER FEEDBACK: Same trusted system, better in every way. An extra daily page for more room to log the session. Weekly reviews now grouped with each week's trades, so no more flipping back and forth. Crisp, darker print that's easy on the eyes after hours on a screen. - NOT A NOTEBOOK, A COMPLETE 12-WEEK SYSTEM: Start with a one-time 9-part Trading Plan (your market, setups, risk rules and discipline checklist). Then twelve identical weeks: five Daily Logs, five Deep Dive trade pages, and a two-page Weekly Review. 189 guided pages, roughly 80 trades. Guided prompts walk you through every step. You never stare at a blank page.
- RATE YOUR EXECUTION, NOT YOUR RESULT: Your platform tracks the P&L. Nothing tracks the why. Log energy, sleep and mindset before the open; grade every trade A to F on whether you followed your plan, not on whether it won; then face the pattern every weekend with START / STOP / IMPROVE / CONTINUE. That review habit is the edge. You're 42% more likely to hit a goal you've written down.

The BCSC explained that binary options’ payouts depend on whether an underlying asset moves up or down, and that options are considered securities under British Columbia legislation. It also noted that crypto assets may, in some circumstances, be securities under that legislation. These points describe the regulator’s BC legal context; they are not blanket statements about every cryptocurrency or jurisdiction.
How to check whether Swift Bit Options is authorised
- Identify the legal entity. Find the company name in the website’s footer, terms and conditions and privacy policy. A trading brand is not necessarily the legal name of the firm accepting funds.
- Check the regulator in your jurisdiction. For British Columbia, consult the BCSC’s official warning and registration information. Elsewhere, use the relevant national or regional financial regulator’s official register and warning notices.
- Match every detail. Check that the legal name, website domain, address, contact details and permitted services match the regulator’s record. A similarly named firm is not enough.
- Check dates and scope. The BCSC notice is dated November 15, 2018 and concerns registration in British Columbia. Do not treat that historical notice as a determination of current status or authorization in another jurisdiction.
Company incorporation and financial-services authorization are separate matters. A company-registration document does not, by itself, show that a firm is permitted to provide regulated investment services or handle client money.
What the available reviews say
ForexBrokerz published a review on December 13, 2018 and updated it on September 30, 2019. The reviewer reported that Swift Bit Options presented itself as offering MetaTrader 4, forex and CFD accounts, binary options and cryptocurrency accounts. The reviewer also said its investigation found similarities between the website and account specifications and those of Grand Capital, and that an account it registered showed a web-based binary-options interface rather than the advertised MT4 service. These are the reviewer’s reported findings, not findings by the BCSC.
The available sources do not establish a universal corporate-registration status, a court finding of fraud or the firm’s current status. The BCSC notice supports the specific British Columbia registration finding; the dated third-party review should not be treated as proof of other legal claims.

Warning signs to look for
| Warning sign | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Guaranteed, fixed or unusually high returns | Do not rely on promises of returns; verify the operator and understand that trading involves risk. |
| Urgency to deposit | Pressure to act quickly can interfere with independent checks. |
| Crypto-only payments or personal bank accounts | These routes can make it harder to identify the recipient or recover a payment. |
| Unexpected withdrawal fees | Requests for tax, insurance, verification or release payments before a withdrawal warrant particular caution. |
| Unclear legal documents | Missing terms, unexplained governing law or no named company can make it difficult to understand who is responsible. |
| Pressure to install remote-access software | This may expose banking credentials, identity documents and payment accounts. |
| Profits visible only inside a dashboard | A displayed balance does not prove that trades occurred or funds are available to withdraw. |
Why a trading platform is not proof of a real broker
A website can show price charts, transaction histories and a growing account balance without proving that trades were executed in external markets. A claim of access to a familiar platform also does not establish that the operator is authorized or that customer money is held safely.
Before depositing, verify the legal entity and its authorization directly with the regulator. If the operator cannot provide details that match an official record, do not proceed.
What to do if Swift Bit Options asks for more money
Do not pay an additional amount to unlock a withdrawal without independently verifying the demand. A request described as a tax, compliance charge, security deposit, account upgrade or recovery payment is a reason to stop and seek advice.
- Stop sending money and do not provide additional passwords, card details or identity documents.
- Contact your bank, card issuer, wire provider or cryptocurrency exchange promptly. Explain what happened and ask what payment-recovery or account-security options are available.
- Change reused passwords and enable multi-factor authentication. If remote-access software was installed, secure your accounts and device and check for unauthorized access.
- Save the website address, emails, messages, phone numbers, wallet addresses, transaction IDs, invoices and screenshots.
- Report the matter to the relevant financial regulator and local law-enforcement or fraud-reporting service. Find contact details independently.
Be cautious of recovery agents who contact you after a loss and request an upfront fee. Verify any offer independently before sharing information or paying.

Is Swift Bit Options a scam?
The available sources do not establish a court finding that Swift Bit Options committed fraud. The BCSC did publish a caution-list notice on November 15, 2018 and said the firm was not registered to trade in or advise on securities or exchange contracts in British Columbia. It also said it had learned the firm accepted funds from a BC resident. Those are serious reasons for caution, but they do not settle the firm’s current status or authorization elsewhere.
Before dealing with any broker, check these points:
- the exact legal entity and website domain;
- the regulator and jurisdiction covering the service;
- whether the regulator’s record matches the firm’s identity and contact details;
- whether the firm is permitted to offer the products it advertises; and
- whether the authorization or warning information is current.
If you cannot verify the operator and its authorization for your jurisdiction, do not deposit funds or submit identity documents.
Safer alternatives to an unverified broker
Choose only a firm whose legal identity and authorization you can verify in your own regulator’s register. Compare the exact legal entity, domain, contact details, permitted services and current regulator information—not just the brand name. The available research does not establish the current status of any alternative broker.

Do not choose a broker solely because of a high-return claim, a social-media recommendation, a professional-looking dashboard or a small initial withdrawal. Screenshots and individual reports are not substitutes for regulator verification.

Is Swift Bit Options legitimate?

The Bottom Line

Do not deposit unless you independently verify the operator’s current authorization in your jurisdiction.
